Kate’s eyes turned cold after hearing her threaten, “In this case, I advise you not to offend any reporter for your own sake, because they all carry recording pens with them. If you bother me, what happened to Rorey will happen to you, got it?”.

Hazel scoffed, “I’m not as stupid as Rorey.”

“You’re not. But you’re no better than her. Don’t forget we’re all in the same circle. Maybe others don’t know it, but I know very well how you got the parts in those two movies this year.”

Sara continued, “I have no other intention. Now you have two choices. We continue with this interview, or you continue to fight me. But be careful, if you can bear the consequences, I will continue.”

A stony silence fell over the room.

Hazel and her assistant grew uneasy.

In show business, the biggest taboo was for reporters to catch you in something dirty because they could easily make you lose everything you had earned through years of hard work.

She had to sleep with others to get the roles in the two movies this year. But this was a secret and no one knew about it, apart from her closest assistant and manager.

Sara was quick to perk up, but Hazel was even quicker.

Sara was efficient and finished the interview in less than an hour.

Sara smiled sweetly and left before the assistant said anything.

The assistant gawked at first and immediately her face turned red with anger.

While Sara was glad she had upset Hazel.

After enduring so much suffering, Sara would not allow anyone to take advantage of her, including Rorey, David or Hazel. The more vicious they were, the more severe the retaliation they would receive from Sara.

Just as Sara was leaving Hazel’s agency, Leo called, “Are you done with the interview?”

“If I didn’t know you were always secretly protecting me, I might think you had superpowers.”

Sara smiled, and looked very pleased.

“It doesn’t seem necessary, though.”

“Of course it doesn’t. If I need you, I’ll ask for your help. When that day comes, I hope my husband won’t refuse.”

Sara smiled mischievously.

“Don’t worry. I’ll do anything for my wife,” Leo promised.

“You’re so sweet. You learn this from your little brother? Don’t be fooled by him. Coolness is more suited for you,” Sara smiled and ended the call.

Just as she was about to go home, she bumped into David.
