Luis couldn’t help but laugh.
After calling his parents, he returned to his suite where Elva was sleeping soundly. Her head was covered, and she looked like nothing more than an adult version of Samuel, just a big girl.
Sitting down next to her, he gently tugged on her long hair and shook his head in amusement.

But then, thinking about their past relationship, which had become too distant when he hadn’t done much, he decided against it. He took off his shoes and got into bed next to her, pulling her closer to him.
