After it was all over, Luis was stunned.
Elva got up and headed to the bathroom to wash her hands.
She took her time to clean them thoroughly. When Luis came out of his daze, he quietly approached her from behind, put his arms around her and whispered, “When I eat you, I never feel any displeasure.”
Elva’s cheeks flushed immediately. “I never asked you to do that.”
Besides, she didn’t have Luis’s boundless energy.

The next day, Elva received a call from the director who told her that they had hired a new actor to take Hurst’s place.
“It would be good for you two to get to know each other before we start filming. We’ll start with your solo scenes and then move on to scenes with the two of you.”
Elva found the director’s plan sensible and nodded in agreement.
The next morning, after dropping Elva off on the set, Luis intended to wait for her in the car.
But Elva disagreed.
She told him that she could explore the city instead, as it would be boring to sit in the car and wait.
At that moment, the director approached them with a broad smile on his face.
He reached out, took Luis’ hand and shook it vigorously. “You are very kind, Mr. Mendez. Thanks to your investment, we have been able to secure a top-notch actor for our film. I guarantee you that this actor is not only dedicated but also very skilled. Most importantly, working alongside him will greatly benefit Elva’s acting skills.”
