Chapter 205: (END)

I sighed and lay back on the sun lounger, waiting as the staff scrambled to find another model to calm the strict director’s fury.
“Director! I found one!”
“Brief me on his background.”
“Uh… he’s a newbie—”
“Newbie?” The director growled, and I just shook my head. “You’re giving me a newbie model? What product has he endorsed before, huh?”
“T-This will be his first—”
“FIND ME ANOTHER ONE! I WANT SOMEONE FAMOUS LIKE EMILY!”
“D-Director, this could be a new strategy. We can hire a fresh face to model our—”

“ARE YOU KIDDING ME?”
“He’s here!”
“WHO? JASON? I’M GOING TO SKIN HIM ALIVE!”
“N-No, director. The newbie.”
The director screamed in frustration, while I slowly lowered my sunglasses to see the man walking toward us. I remained calm, but my heart raced, and I gasped when I recognized him. W-What… what is he doing here?
I sat up, my eyes fixed on his face. My heart pounded in my chest as he kept his gaze on me, as if he knew I was here. When he stopped in front of us, my lips parted as my heart slowly calmed, realizing he wasn’t the man I had feared. He looked… clean and decent. I had always known him as a rascal. He lived in New York, unwilling to manage their family business, leaving his twin behind.
I swallowed hard, remembering how I left his twin after he had left.
The director seemed to calm down after seeing his face. I watched as his lips curled into a smirk before his gaze landed on the shocked editor.
“Am I qualified?” His voice was hoarse and deep, but it wasn’t the voice I missed. It was the gentle voice of his twin brother.
I don’t know what happened after that because my eyes began roaming the area. My heart was pounding again, worried that he was here for me. If he was… I wasn’t sure I could move to run away from him.
“Ah!” I gasped when an arm wrapped around my waist, pulling me closer.
I pressed my palms against Mason’s bare chest as he stared into my eyes, darkly. His jaw clenched before he gave me another sarcastic smirk.
“How’s life without my brother, Emily?”
I gasped in shock and pushed him away.
“EMILY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?”
I jumped at the director’s loud shout. I looked at her, realizing we were already shooting.
Damn it!
I’m usually professional, but now that someone from my past is standing in front of me, I couldn’t help but feel nervous.
Mason grabbed my waist again and picked up the bottle of lemon-flavored alcohol. He raised an eyebrow when he saw me staring at him.
“I think we should talk,” he whispered in my ear, just as the photographer praised Mason’s acting.
I gritted my teeth. “What are you doing, Mason?”
He smiled. “Relax, sweetheart. My twin didn’t know I’m here with you. He’s too much of a fool to understand. After you kissed him, you avoided him and ran away. And my kind, naive twin brother didn’t want to make you feel uncomfortable, so he just decided to let you go.”
“M-Mason…”
His eyes darkened. “We’ll talk later. If you refuse, you’ll see my twin brother here tomorrow.”
Oh, crap! This photoshoot is scheduled for two days. I completely forgot!
“Nice! That’s hot, just like the summer. Good job, Emily, and, uh… newbie.”
“It’s Mason,” he corrected before turning back to me. “Remember my name, because you can’t run away from me again.”
