Chapter 914:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
The assistant immediately nodded.
“The studio and the photographer are ready. Please go to the studio now.”
“Okay,” I said, nodding. I then reached out, smiling, to take Herbert’s arm.
Herbert didn’t refuse and followed me to the studio.
The background of the studio was exquisitely designed. Herbert sat in front of the backdrop, and the photographer kept prompting, “Sir, smile, smile more!”
However, Herbert remained with a stern expression, and eventually, the photographer had no choice but to pause.
The photographer sighed and, still holding the camera, smiled at Herbert.
“Sir, could you smile? Marriage is a happy occasion. Aren’t you happy to marry such a beautiful bride?”
Seeing this, I immediately apologized to the photographer.
“I’m sorry. My husband didn’t sleep well last night. Can he have a glass of water and rest for a moment? Can we take the picture later?”
“Okay,” the photographer nodded. In the next moment, the assistant brought a cup of coffee to Herbert.
“Sir, would you like a cup of coffee?” the assistant asked.
Herbert’s face remained stern, and he didn’t even glance at the assistant.

The assistant, sensing the tension, looked slightly embarrassed, but she still managed to smile.
I quickly took the coffee from her hand.
“Thank you.”
“You’re welcome,” the assistant replied, before leaving the studio. Now, it was just Herbert and me.
I shook my head in amusement, then handed the coffee to Herbert with a teasing smile.
“Mr. Wharton, have a cup of coffee.”
Herbert rolled his eyes, took the coffee, and took a sip.
“Are you still angry?” I asked softly, leaning my head on his shoulder.
Herbert frowned, his displeasure still evident.
“How could I not be angry when I was fooled?” he replied.
Bella’s POV:
“But you played a trick on me first. I can only fight back,” I quietly raised my eyebrows and said.
“I’m just not happy,” Herbert replied seriously, lowering his head to drink the coffee. I couldn’t help but feel a little anxious.
“We’re taking wedding photos today, okay? You’ve been wearing that angry face all this time. People who don’t know what’s going on might think that I’m forcing you into this marriage. They’ll think you don’t want to marry me!”
Only then did Herbert make a small concession.
“Then coax me. If I’m happy, I won’t be angry anymore.”
Hearing this, I knew I had to do something. After all, I was the one who had made him unhappy. So, I grabbed Herbert’s arm and said in a coquettish tone, shaking it.
