Chapter 547:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
“I said you’re fools, and even that’s generous,” Hayley said, her voice carrying authority. “Someone goes live, sheds a few tears, and you all take it as truth. So if I start a live stream now, act like the victim, and cry a bit, would that make me the victim too?”
“That’s different! Paula and Karin aren’t like you!”
Unable to restrain herself any further, Emely stepped forward and struck the speaker across the face.
The sharp sound echoed, stunning the entire crowd into silence.
No one had expected such a glamorous woman to act so violently.
“I’m warning you. I built Pioneer Group into what it is today. I’m not afraid of trouble,” Emely said coldly, her tone laced with authority. “You disgust me. You have three minutes to leave, or I’ll have security remove you by force.”
“Ha! We’re not afraid! If you touch us, we’ll call the police!”
“We’re standing for justice, we won’t back down!”
The self-proclaimed righteous crowd quickly became agitated, loudly declaring their intent to fight on behalf of Paula and Karin.

Their foolish behavior made Emely furious. She ordered, “Take them down. Beat them until they can’t fight back! If anyone ends up dead or disabled, I’ll take responsibility!”
The moment Emely gave the order, the security team moved.
The crowd panicked. From the way the guards advanced, it was clear this wasn’t a bluff.
Emely sneered, “Pioneer Group has plenty of money. Even if you end up crippled, I’ll make sure you’re taken care of for life. So, are you ready to be beaten into that state?”
“You’re insane! We’ll call the police!”
Emely laughed lightly. “The police will need at least five minutes to get here. Five minutes is more than enough to turn all of you into useless wrecks. Go ahead.”
Batons swung as security surged forward, pushing the crowd back.
Seeing Emely’s resolve, the crowd broke apart and ran for their lives.
“Hey, don’t run!” Emely pouted as she watched them flee, her earlier fury turning into boredom. “What a bunch of cowards.”
“Emely, don’t be upset.” Hayley walked over and gently cupped her face. “No matter what they say about me, it won’t hurt me. But seeing you angry like this pains me.”
“Hayley…” Emely’s eyes reddened. “I cannot tolerate others insulting you. I even organized the entire company to respond online, but their numbers were overwhelming; we stood no chance.”
“My silly girl.” Hayley pulled her into a soft embrace, her voice gentle. “Please don’t worry. This storm won’t last much longer. They haven’t reached their peak yet. We just need a little patience.”
“Can we completely destroy them this time?” Emely looked up at her, eyes burning with resolve.
Hayley nodded slowly, a chilling glint flashing in her eyes. “When they reach the peak, that’s when we drag them straight into hell.”
Observing from the side, Violet was moved by the connection between Hayley and Emely. She had not anticipated that Emely, a prominent business leader, would grow emotional and shed tears over her friend being insulted.
These two women must have gone through some unforgettable experiences together.
As Violet was deep in thought, her phone vibrated.
She looked at the screen, her eyes widening in shock. “Miss Morgan, Emmalyn has started a live stream.”
