Chapter 117:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
“Who are you? How dare you ruin my moment?”
In the private room, all eyes suddenly shifted from Stella to the door.
A familiar figure barged in.
At that moment, when Tristan entered, it felt like the whole room fell into silence. No one expected him to show up, let alone barge in unannounced!
Stella was equally stunned. She quickly pulled her torn clothes together, afraid of revealing too much.
“Dr. Davis, so it’s you,” Andrew said, standing up, blood staining the back of his head and smearing across his face. He looked wicked, almost monstrous.
Tristan walked directly toward Stella. His entrance was different from others. Even though everyone knew that Andrew did not welcome uninvited guests, if it was Tristan, it was a different story.
After all, they moved in the same upper-class circles, and no one wanted to stir up unnecessary trouble.
“Mr. Matthews, I’m here to take the woman by your side away,” Tristan said coldly.
As he spoke, his eyes swept over Stella, carefully inspecting her from head to toe. But unlike Andrew’s predatory gaze, Tristan’s was filled with concern, as if he were checking for any injuries.
Andrew scoffed, his gaze shifting between Stella and Tristan, clearly trying to decipher the nature of their relationship.
“Take her away? Then give me a reason why I should agree,” Andrew said, stepping forward to block Tristan’s path.
Stella, still on the ground, tried to get up but realized that her shoulder, bruised and burning with pain, prevented her from moving.
Not only that, but she had twisted her ankle when Andrew threw her down, making it impossible for her to stand on her own.
For a moment, she was stuck, watching the confrontation between Tristan and Andrew.

From her viewpoint, all she could see was Andrew’s back and Tristan standing tall in front of him. The tension in the air was palpable, as if a storm was brewing between the two men.
“The reason is simple,” Tristan said, his voice calm and steady. “Mr. Matthews, you touched my woman.”
His words were delivered with such certainty, as if this was an indisputable fact.
Stella was speechless.
Wasn’t this man being a little too much? He had pulled something like this in front of the Richard family before, but now, in front of strangers, he was doing it again. Didn’t he feel embarrassed at all?
The Richard family had always paraded Sophia around in public, and most people believed she was their only daughter.
No one cared about Stella or knew of her connection to the family. And now, Tristan had declared her his woman in front of all these people.
Andrew looked confused, clearly trying to piece things together. Everyone in the room was just as baffled.
“Just now, Cherry said she’s Mr. Kingston’s woman… Stella, what’s going on with Tristan now?” Andrew asked, now even more intrigued.
His gaze lingered on Stella like a predator eyeing his prey.
Tristan spoke again, his voice unwavering. “Mr. Matthews, I suggest you let her go. I don’t want to see my woman get hurt, and I don’t want to damage our friendship.”
Tristan, who usually kept his emotions hidden, now had a fiery intensity in his eyes. Stella could see it clearly. If Andrew dared to touch her again, she could sense that Tristan was ready to throw a punch at any moment.
Stella had never seen him like this before. All her life, Tristan had always been gentle and kind, more like a protective brother than anything else.
Andrew, sensing the danger, finally relented. “Alright… sure,” he said, backing down slightly.
