Chapter 357:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
“You are now like Ah Shuai when he was taking his medicine. Did it really take you two hours to swallow a single pill? Then you downed an entire bucket of water.” Carson felt deeply condescended.
Violet silently picked up another pill.
“What are you doing?” Carson hurriedly took two steps back.
“You can’t take this medicine, so of course, I have to change and get an IV drip for you. I’ll ask the doctor to set it up for you in a bit.”
Violet’s words hit Carson like a thunderbolt on a sunny day.
“I have taken the medicine, haven’t I?”
“You vomited all of it. That doesn’t count at all.” Violet ignored his protest and went downstairs to put away the medicine. Then, she asked Monica to call the private doctor of the Vives family.
The doctor arrived to assist Carson but was delayed for a while. When he inserted the needle, Carson behaved like a frightened child, completely out of control. If it weren’t for Violet standing next to him, he would have kicked the doctor out.
After the doctor finished inserting the needle into Carson, he wiped his sweat in relief.
The young master was not himself that day; he was much more docile than usual. In the past, the doctor wouldn’t even have been able to enter Carson’s bedroom, let alone handle him.
It seemed that the young master knew how to save face in front of girls. Not bad, not bad… The boy had finally grown up.
The doctor patted his heart and left. Carson was exhausted and fell asleep on the bed. Violet sat in the living room for a while, and when she was about to leave, Monica stopped her.
“Miss Bryant, where are you going? You can’t leave. What if the young master wakes up and can’t see you?”

“Didn’t your young master get sick before?” Violet replied. Since he was already so old, she thought she didn’t need to keep watching over him.
“Young Master’s illness has never been managed by others. We don’t know how to deal with it after you leave.”
Violet couldn’t resist the sincere request of the kind auntie, so she sat on the sofa in the living room, read books, and repeated the same actions over and over.
When she looked up again, it was already dark. Was she supposed to leave?
“Madam Monica, it’s getting late. I have to go home now. How about I visit Carson tomorrow?”
The housekeeper pretended to be cute and looked sincerely at Violet.
Damn, did everyone in his family know that trick? When Violet went upstairs with dinner, she sighed deeply.
Alas, she was born to be a saint. She had always been so kind. What was she supposed to do?
She knocked on the door twice, then pushed it open and stepped inside. That guy was still sleeping. If she guessed correctly, he had been asleep for the whole day. When she came over at noon, he was asleep, and now it was dark, and he was still sleeping. Did he still have a fever?
Violet walked over and stretched out her hand to touch Carson’s forehead. Fortunately, it wasn’t too hot to the touch.
However, if he didn’t have a fever anymore, why was he still sleeping?
“Carson? Carson? What happened to you? Carson?”
Oh no, had this guy fainted? Violet got closer and reached out to pat Carson’s face. At least he had a slight reaction.
“What’s wrong?”
Phew, it’s good that he’s fine.
“Get up. Have a meal. You can sleep after eating.” Carson had already received an IV drip, and the doctor had helped him remove the needle in the afternoon.
Now, a small band-aid was on his hand, and Violet slowly reached out to pull it off for him. Although it was just a small needle puncture, it was clearly visible on Carson’s fair hand.
Carson, who had just woken up, looked a little confused. His brain might still be foggy, so he naturally opened his mouth.
What did he mean? Did he want her to feed him?
Violet felt her hand shaking uncontrollably. She was trying hard to stop herself from slapping him.
“What are you waiting for? Come on.”
Seeing that he was patient, she put up with him…
One bite, two bites…
Phew, it’s finally over.
“Carson, you are feeling much better, aren’t you?”
“Yes.”
Could she finally go home now that he was feeling better?
“Can I go home now?”
“Sure, that’s fine,” Carson said flatly. “But be here on time tomorrow morning!”
What the heck!
“Why do I have to come tomorrow?”
“Aren’t you my 24-hour on-call nanny?” Carson asked with a matter-of-fact expression. “Otherwise, do you think it’s over?”
Damn it, she really thought it was over.
“Go to bed early. Don’t be late, or I will delay your release date!”
Why didn’t this bastard burn to death from his fever? She shouldn’t have meddled in his business.
After returning home, Violet took a bath and then fell asleep directly on the bed.
The grass in her dreams was very delicious. As a little sheep, she always felt that lowering her head to eat grass and basking in the sun was the most wonderful thing in the world.
Who knew that one day a huge tiger would suddenly break into the grassland and take over the entire area?
She recognized that evil tiger. The last time the tiger bullied the little goat, she just stood up and said something out of justice. She didn’t expect that this tiger would hate her!
Not only did he occupy her grassland, but he also refused to eat the grass. When she asked him, “Why didn’t you eat grass since you stole my grassland?” he replied, “I just want it to wither up and not let you eat it.”
“Then what are you going to eat?”
“I will eat you.”
Then, Violet woke up in fear…
She was sweating and panting heavily. She looked at the watch; it was 3:45 AM. She got up and went to the toilet, then lay down and tried to fall asleep.
Oh my God… This was terrible. She must be dreaming. She would be fine once she woke up.
She actually dreamed of Carson. It was just too horrifying!
