Knowing that Stella would come back today, Damien took Emily to the airport early to pick her up. “Stella, you are finally back! Seeing so many photos of you, I am so jealous.” Emily exclaimed as she hugged Stella tightly.

“Stella, if you hadn’t come back, Sister Emily would have tortured me to death.” Damien ignored RK, who was next to Stella, and embraced her.

“Hey… Stella, the one next to you is RK, isn’t he?” Emily pulled Stella’s hand and whispered in her ear. Although she was quite sure this was RK, she wanted to confirm it with Stella.

Stella nodded.

Emily immediately pulled Stella aside to size up RK.

Then, she extended her hand to RK.

“Hello, I am Emily, Stella’s best friend.”

RK shook hands with Emily and then withdrew his hand.

“‘Rene Kingston.” RK politely introduced himself.

“Wow, so cool, so handsome…” Seeing Emily so fascinated, Stella was left speechless.

“Emily!” Suddenly, Damien’s voice rang out, making Emily jump.

“Damien, help me send Stella back to college safely. I have something to do and need to leave.” Although RK was talking to Damien, his gaze remained on Stella.

“I know even if you don’t tell me. Take care! I won’t see you off!” Damien said to RK. Then he grabbed Stella’s hand, which made her feel very embarrassed.

RK watched as Damien held Stella’s hand and frowned. He then nodded at Stella and left.

Emily looked at RK’s back as he departed, then turned to Damien.

“‘Damien, do you know RK?” Emily was confused that RK had directly called Damien by name. She knew it wasn’t Stella who had told RK about Damien.

Damien looked at Emily and turned his head away, refusing to answer the question.

Stella was speechless as she observed the two of them. She knew that if Emily didn’t get an answer, she wouldn’t let it go.

Emily had been looking at Damien, but he ignored her. She then turned her attention back to Stella.

“RK is Damien’s cousin.” As expected, Stella had no answer to the question on behalf of Damien.

Hearing this, Emily was stunned.

Then, she turned to observe Damien’s expression.

“That doesn’t mean that the person Damien likes is finally marrying his cousin!”

After saying this, Emily wanted to slap herself. “‘Oh my god, what a fool! How could I say something like this?”

Seeing Damien’s expression darkening, Emily quickly covered her mouth.

As for Damien, he held Stella’s hand tighter and tighter.

“It hurts…” Hearing Stella’s cry of pain, Damien realized what he had done and quickly let go of her hand.

“‘Stella, are you okay?” Damien picked up Stella’s red hand, regretting his actions.

“It’s okay. Let’s go back to college.”

Along the way, Emily wanted to ask Stella whether she was happy or not, but she didn’t dare to.

It was quiet during the drive.

This silence lasted until they arrived at the school.

“Stella, you must be very tired after getting off the plane. Go back and rest quickly. I will come back to see you tomorrow.”

Seeing the tiredness in Stella’s eyes, Damien felt very distressed.

Stella nodded in response.

Only after watching Damien slowly disappear in front of her did Emily dare to speak after she zipped her jacket.

She didn’t know what RK was doing.

Her cell phone rang.

Seeing that the caller ID was Damien, Stella thought it was odd that Damien’s cousin didn’t call her, but Damien did. “Hey, Damien.”

“‘Stella, I didn’t disturb your rest, did I?” Damien asked, hoping he hadn’t interrupted her sleep.

“No, I just woke up. I am going to eat something with Emily later.” Stella glanced at Emily, who was changing her clothes, and felt bored watching her get ready for a night out.
