Chapter 508:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
The next ceremony was to exchange rings.
A pair of delicate diamond rings were presented by the bridesmaid, Emily. The two rings nestled together, like a pair of loyal lovers.
“Please exchange tokens with the newcomers from both sides,” the priest announced in front of the altar. RK took one of the diamond rings and slipped it onto Stella’s left ring finger. The glittering diamond sparkled like the brightest star in the sky.
Stella picked up the other ring and carefully placed it on RK’s finger.
At that moment, all the guests stood up and applauded. Stella felt as if everything was too dreamy and gorgeous, making her wonder if it was real. After returning to her hotel room following the wedding, she was still in a daze. She couldn’t believe that she and RK were married.
Stella suddenly remembered that RK had told her to move into the RK Mansion before they got married. She also recalled the happy expression on RK’s face when he saw Sophia. Could it be that RK and Sophia knew each other?
If RK and Sophia knew each other, Sophia would never have allowed RK to marry her.
“Stella, guess what I just saw.” Stella was lost in thought about the relationship between RK and Sophia when Emily interrupted her.
“What did you see that made you rush in here?” Stella looked at Emily, who was panting, and quickly helped her sit down, then handed her a glass of water.
“I just called Damien from the balcony. After hanging up, I was going to join you for a while when I suddenly saw RK and your sister Sophia. They seemed very familiar with each other.” Emily paused midway, gulping down a few mouthfuls of water. She then carefully observed Stella’s expression, finding that she wasn’t surprised at all.
However, Stella hadn’t expected that RK knew Sophia.
“Do you know they know each other?” Emily asked.

Considering it, Stella realized that she probably didn’t know about it. Otherwise, she would have mentioned it long ago.
“I don’t know, but RK looked very happy to see Sophia today. They must know each other. I’m curious—if they know each other, why wouldn’t Sophia want to marry him?” Stella frowned as she shared her thoughts with Emily.
“I know RK’s assets are comparable to James’s. Sophia, as I know her, would certainly choose him. But why didn’t she respond when she heard RK’s name and even pushed me toward him? I can’t figure it out.” Stella rested her chin in her hands as she pondered.
“Stella, do you think Sophia doesn’t know that RK is RK?” Emily proposed after analyzing what she had just heard.
“That’s possible. I remember that two years ago, when Sophia was studying abroad, she had a boyfriend. Maybe it was RK…” Stella felt a pang of upset at the thought of this.
“By the way, I just heard RK call Sophia ‘Wisdom,'” Emily told Stella, unsure if she should share what she had just learned.
“Wisdom? That’s Sophia’s other name.” Hearing Emily’s words, Stella vaguely recalled the name from when she returned to the Richard family.
“Probably RK also had some other name, and they only know each other’s names but not their other names. I remember when Sophia came back, she was in a bad mood. Later, she met James, and she gradually got better.” It turned out that Sophia was in a bad mood because of RK… No wonder… Haha…
“Stella, there’s something I don’t know if I should tell you.” Emily’s face was filled with conflict.
“Speak, it’ll be fine.” Stella looked at Emily, guessing what was on her mind.
“I saw RK…” Emily looked at Stella cautiously and suddenly realized she didn’t know how to continue after mentioning RK’s name.
“What’s wrong with RK? Did he tell Sophia that he wanted to divorce me?” Stella laughed at herself.
They had just gotten married, but now they were talking about divorce. That was truly embarrassing.
“No, I saw RK kiss Sophia…” Emily held her breath and blurted it out. She felt much more relieved after saying it.
“Oh,” Stella replied flatly.
She had missed the fact that they might divorce, but she didn’t care about RK kissing Sophia. Anyway, she wasn’t the one being kissed, so it didn’t matter. “Ding…”
“Was it Damien who called?” Hearing Stella’s phone ring, Emily suddenly remembered that Damien had just called her and said he didn’t want to bless Stella. Now it seemed he didn’t mean it.
“No, it’s Brother Tristan.”
Stella answered the phone.
“Hello, Brother Tristan.” What Stella didn’t know was that Tristan was on his way to the airport.
“Stella, I have left the banquet.” Tristan looked at the ticket in his hand and thought of the wedding they just had. Suddenly, he found he had no way to stop the wedding.
“Well, then I’ll invite you to dinner another day. It’s your treat, hey.” Stella didn’t want to dwell on what had just happened and tried to joke with Tristan, unaware that he was leaving soon.
“Stella, I’m at the airport now. I’m leaving to study medicine.” Tristan took a deep breath and continued. “I wanted to tell you later, but I was afraid you would forget me.” He laughed dryly.
“Brother Tristan, you…”
Stella didn’t expect that because of her marriage, her friends and relatives were all leaving her one by one…
“Good girl, if you have time in the future, you can come to visit me. I’m boarding the plane now. I’m hanging up. Goodbye!” Before Stella could say goodbye, Tristan hung up the phone.
Tristan looked at Stella’s photo on the phone screen and reached out to touch it. Then he turned off the phone and put it in his pocket. He pulled his suitcase and walked to the boarding gate. No one was there to see him off—only himself.
Stella called Tristan a few times in a row, but each time it indicated that the number was turned off.
“Emily, Brother Tristan has also left. What do you think I should do?” Stella held back her tears and did not let them fall. However, she felt extremely uncomfortable in her heart.
Looking at Stella’s state, Emily didn’t know how to comfort her.
Just as Emily was about to speak, there was a knock on the door.
“Mrs. RK, Mr. Kingston asked if you have changed your clothes?” The waiter’s voice reached Stella’s ears. She suddenly realized that she was no longer Miss Richard, but Mrs. RK.
“Yes, I will come down immediately.” Stella patted her face to calm herself down. She didn’t want others to see her red-rimmed eyes.
“Stella, are you okay?” Emily was very worried about Stella, especially now that Stella knew what she had just seen.
“I’m fine.” Stella smiled at Emily to reassure her. Looking at Stella’s forced smile, Emily felt unsure about how to comfort her.
Holding onto Emily’s arm, Stella slowly walked down the spiral staircase. RK saw Stella coming down the stairs. He found that her demeanor was radiant; her skin was very fair, and the red dress she wore made her look even more beautiful.
Emily handed Stella, who was holding her arm, to RK and frowned at him. She thought it was foolish of her to ever believe RK was handsome.
Stella held RK’s arm and smiled at him.
All the guests echoed similar sentiments. Stella released her grip and walked over to the balcony.
RK watched Stella leave without a word and felt very dissatisfied. He followed her to the balcony.
“What are you thinking about?”
