Chapter 511:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
“I’ve changed my clothes. Do you want to go out and have a look?” RK asked, glancing at Stella, who stood behind him before he answered the phone.
“No, I’m tired. I want to rest first,” Stella replied, walking to the wardrobe to grab a pair of pajamas before heading into the bathroom. Frowning, RK watched her disappearing figure with confusion.
She seemed fine just a moment ago—what caused her sudden change in demeanor?
“Did Stella get jealous because I answered Sophia’s call just now?” RK pondered, unable to figure it out.
When Stella emerged after changing, she found RK still by the window. However, as soon as she stepped out, RK’s gaze fell on her.
Stella lay down on the bed, avoiding eye contact. RK realized he couldn’t take any further action with her like this. Reluctantly, he removed his clothes and climbed into bed, wrapping his arms around her.
Stella, caught off guard by RK’s embrace from behind, stiffened, unsure of how to react.
RK pulled her closer and kissed her neck. Suddenly, Stella felt a shiver run down her spine, goosebumps prickling her skin. RK turned her to face him.
Stella instinctively tried to push him away but found herself lacking the strength, feeling as though she might suffocate.
“Silly girl, you must remember to breathe when you kiss,” RK said softly, leaving her lips to kiss her collarbone.
“RK! Let go of me!”
The next morning, when Stella woke up, she noticed RK lying beside her.

Recalling the events of the previous night, her cheeks flushed once more.
As RK opened his eyes, he was met with the sight of his wife blushing before him.
Stella attempted to rise, but as she moved slightly, soreness hit her, prompting her to lie back down and stay still.
To be honest, it wasn’t that bad. After their encounter last night, RK had carried Stella and soaked her in the bathtub for a while. Otherwise, she would have felt even worse today.
“Good girl, you’re awake. What do you want to eat? I’ll order it for you.” Seeing her like this, RK felt a surge of happiness.
Stella blushed under RK’s cheerful gaze.
“It’s up to you,” she replied, shyly covering her head with the quilt.
After breakfast, RK announced he would take Stella to the sea.
Once in the washroom, Stella noticed that they were both wearing matching outfits, causing her face to turn even redder.
She suddenly realized that being with RK made it all too easy for her to blush.
“RK, do you know the legend of the sea?” Stella asked, turning to look at him.
RK smiled back and replied, “I don’t know; I only know my wife.”
Stella blushed again and avoided his gaze, instead starting to recount the legend of the sea.
RK watched her with amusement as she earnestly talked about the tale, fighting the urge to kiss her charming lips.
He remained silent, letting her continue.
“Finally, many years later, on the day she would never awaken again, people poured all the wine, vim, and dew they had collected in their lifetimes onto the ground where she lay.
Just as the last drop fell, a miracle occurred: a clear spring gushed from her grave, embracing her body. It transformed from a spring to a stream, from a stream to a river, and from a river to a sea. From then on, there was a clear sea in the country, and people called it ‘The Sea of Love.’
“There are two parts to this story, but this is my favorite,” Stella said, turning her head to smile at RK.
When she noticed RK staring at her, she blushed once more.
RK found Stella’s bashfulness particularly enchanting. He wrapped his arms around her waist and covered her lips with his.
Next to them lay the sea of love, the scene of their kiss resembling a beautiful painting.
RK released Stella, who leaned against his chest, breathing a little awkwardly.
“Idiot, you won’t be able to breathe if you don’t learn,” he teased, tugging gently at her hair.
He held her close again, both lost in thoughts of their love as they gazed at the sea.
“Ding…”
As soon as they returned to their hotel room, Stella’s phone rang.
She pulled it out to see Emily’s name flashing on the screen.
“Hey, Emily,” she answered.
“Stella, how have you been these last two days? Are you happy?” Emily asked, recalling Stella’s state when she left and feeling worried for her.
To be honest, Emily had called Stella once last night, but RK had answered, mentioning that Stella was resting, so she hadn’t wanted to disturb them.
“Well, it’s okay. I’m very happy,” Stella replied, pushing RK away from her neck as his breath tickled her skin.
“It’s good to hear you’re happy. If you’re happy, you can stay for two more days and come back, hehe.” Emily was relieved to hear that Stella was fine.
“I won’t disturb you anymore. I’m hanging up. Let’s talk when you get back,” Emily said before ending the call.
RK took Stella’s phone and set it aside, then leaned down to pin her gently.
Stella, surprised by his action, gasped. “Good girl, call me husband,” RK encouraged.
“H… H… hubby… Is that enough?” Stella stammered, her face a deep shade of red. She felt she couldn’t hide her embarrassment any longer.
Later that evening, Stella realized RK could be quite devious, but she also sensed that their relationship had grown even closer.
“Aren’t you hungry? I’ll take you out for dinner,” RK said, holding Stella in his arms and feeling pleased knowing he’d never be alone again.
“Yes,” Stella nodded in agreement.
RK brought her to the seaside, where they gazed out over the mesmerizing sea of love, enjoying the beauty of the sunset.
“Thank you,” Stella smiled at RK.
“There’s no need to thank me,” he replied, admiring how the soft glow of the setting sun accentuated her beauty.
Stella smiled but remained silent, turning her head to take in the breathtaking sunset.
Watching the sun setting against her hair, RK felt something in his heart melt.
Stella realized that living here wasn’t boring at all. Each day, she looked out over the captivating sea of love, allowing time to pass while staying detached from the chaos of the world. It was peaceful, harmonious, tranquil, and warm.
Perhaps this was the life Stella longed for. After spending so many years in the Richard family, she felt a heavy burden in her heart. Even though Tristan had showered her with affection since childhood, a sense of insecurity lingered within her.
