As soon as Adrian finished school, he saw Stella and Tristan waiting for him at the door, running toward them with his school bag on his back.

Stella looked at Adrian, who rushed into Tristan’s arms, and smiled helplessly.

“Miss Richard, Adrian is very obedient in school and studies very well. He is also very popular.”

Mr. Taylor observed the woman in front of him and the man beside her, feeling that they made a good match. Seeing Adrian and Tristan so close, he initially thought that Tristan was Stella’s boyfriend, but he gradually learned that Tristan was her brother. This realization made him feel a bit happy.

“Thank you, Mr. Taylor. Our Little Rian has caused you trouble.” Stella was very grateful for Mr. Taylor’s care for Adrian, believing that Mr. Taylor liked Adrian, which was why he was more concerned about him than the other children.

However, Tristan, being a man, could tell at a glance that Mr. Taylor was interested in Stella.

After saying goodbye to Mr. Taylor, Stella and Tristan left. Adrian waved to Mr. Taylor, put his arms around Tristan’s neck, and excitedly discussed what kind of movie they were going to watch later.

Stella remained silent, but seeing the smile on Adrian’s face made her very happy.

When they arrived at the cinema, Adrian chose a cartoon appropriate for his age. After buying the tickets, Tristan and Stella sat down, while Stella bought popcorn and drinks. Once she had everything, she returned to her spot with Tristan and Adrian. After waiting for about ten minutes, they entered the theater.

Once seated, Stella handed the popcorn to Adrian, letting him hold it to eat.

Adrian initially wanted Stella to sit in the middle, with Tristan on either side. However, as soon as they entered, Stella placed him between them. Adrian had no choice but to let things unfold.

After they settled in, a man in a windbreaker, cap, and mask walked into the theater. When he passed Stella, he paused briefly before continuing to the third row behind them.

As soon as he sat down, a couple who came to watch the movie, along with other adults with children, cast strange looks at the man in unusual attire. However, he appeared unfazed, his gaze fixed on Stella, who was three rows ahead.

Suddenly, a ringtone pierced the air. Everyone around turned their heads toward the source of the sound.

When Stella heard the ringtone, she was shocked. It was the same ringtone she had used in the past. While it wasn’t unusual for someone to have a similar ringtone, she recalled that this had been RK’s ringtone when he came to look for her. Stella stiffly turned her head to locate the source of the sound.

RK stared fixedly at Stella, not even noticing that his phone was ringing. But when he sensed someone looking at him, he realized his phone was going off.

Quickly, he took out his phone and turned it off. When he looked up, he found Stella had turned her head and was staring at him.

“Darling, what are you looking at?”

Adrian noticed that Stella was turning her head and was curious about what she was looking at. As he was about to turn around, Stella stopped him. “Nothing, let’s watch the movie.”

Stella smiled and rubbed Adrian’s head. When she looked up again, she saw Tristan’s confused expression.

Stella didn’t say anything, just smiled at Tristan and turned her attention back to the movie.

Tristan turned his head and saw RK.

RK sensed Tristan’s gaze on him as well. He turned away from Stella’s back and met Tristan’s eyes. Although Stella’s focus was on the movie, she was lost in thought.

Even though RK wore a hat and mask, Stella would never forget his deep blue eyes, making her certain that he was RK.

However, she didn’t understand why RK would follow her. Based on her understanding of him, he wouldn’t engage in such behavior.

By the end of the movie, Stella was still immersed in her thoughts, while Adrian and Tristan chatted animatedly about the film they had just watched.

Although Tristan was conversing with Adrian, he glanced at Stella from time to time.

After sending Stella and Adrian back, Tristan bid farewell to Stella.

Stella walked Tristan downstairs and then returned to rest.

After his eyes lingered on the building, Tristan walked to RK’s car parked nearby and knocked on the window. RK looked at Tristan and rolled down the window.

RK’s eyes were deep and shiny in the night.

“RK, let’s talk,” Tristan spoke first. He didn’t want to admit defeat, but he was cautious not to let Stella see them, so he didn’t want to linger too long in front of her house.

RK opened the car door and said, “Get in the car.”

Tristan opened the passenger door and climbed in. After fastening his seatbelt, RK drove out of Stella’s neighborhood and sped down the road, ignoring traffic lights as he pressed on the accelerator.
