Chapter 637:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Stella was annoyed by the noise outside, so she opened the door to see what was going on. Adrian followed Stella out to have a look.
Stella didn’t expect to see Alice and Tristan.
“Brother Tristan?” Stella called out to Tristan, who was standing aside. He nodded at her.
He felt very sorry for disturbing Stella, but he didn’t know how Alice found out that Seventeen lived here, so she came over early in the morning. He hadn’t stopped her, but it was only now that he realized Seventeen lived next door to Stella.
“Seventeen! Can you open the door? I am Alice.”
Alice knocked on Seventeen’s door, but there seemed to be no response from inside.
“Auntie, not only did you disturb Uncle Seventeen’s rest, but you also disturbed us.” Adrian looked at Alice, thinking it was lucky that Seventeen was not at home but at his own place.
That’s right. This morning, after Seventeen and Adrian came back, Seventeen was dragged to their house by Adrian after taking a cool shower. Adrian had said that they would have a potluck together at noon, so no one went back, and Seventeen listened to Adrian very well.
Therefore, Seventeen was not at home now. Instead, he was sitting on the sofa at Stella’s house.
RK and Ruben carried their things. As soon as they stepped out of the elevator, they saw Stella standing in front of a group of people.
But when they saw Alice, they understood why. Last time, during the weekend dinner, the arrival of Tristan and Alice had made their lunch unpleasant. Today, dinner was proposed by Adrian, and everyone favored Adrian very much, so they wouldn’t refuse him at all.
“Uncle, you are…”
Adrian looked at Ruben and RK and immediately smiled.
Tristan felt very uncomfortable. Adrian used to have a good relationship with him, but now he seemed so distant.

To be honest, Adrian still liked Tristan very much. But when he saw him with Alice, he felt unhappy and directly ignored Tristan.
If only Tristan were here now—Adrian would certainly be very happy to open the door and let him in.
But because of Alice, Adrian and Stella stood at the door, blocking it, so they wouldn’t let her see the people inside the house. They were afraid Alice would rush to their house when she saw Seventeen.
“Alice, Seventeen might not be at home. Let’s come back another day, okay?”
Tristan grabbed Alice’s hand, which was knocking on the door, and tried to persuade her.
“I don’t believe it! Seventeen must be at home.” Alice refused to give up and kept knocking, calling out Seventeen’s name.
Hearing Alice’s voice, Emily looked at Seventeen, who was sitting on the sofa without any expression, and suddenly felt pity for Alice outside.
RK and Ruben weren’t interested in joining the commotion, so they went in first.
Stella felt too embarrassed to go in because of Tristan’s presence, so she could only stand at the door.
Adrian didn’t want to see that annoying woman, so he went in as well.
Stella closed the door and stood outside, watching Alice make a scene. The reason she closed the door was that she didn’t want Alice to ask her to go to her house and rest after getting tired. She wasn’t that kind.
“Seventeen!” As soon as Ruben entered the house, he saw Seventeen sitting on the sofa. He shouted accidentally. Fortunately, RK was quick and covered Ruben’s mouth. He was afraid that Ruben’s voice was too loud and that people outside would hear him.
Ruben took RK’s hand away, put their things in the kitchen, and walked out. “It’s amazing how that woman outside is calling so desperately, while you’re just sitting here watching cartoons with Little Adrian as if nothing happened. I’m impressed.” Ruben cupped his hands toward Seventeen like an ancient scholar.
However, Seventeen didn’t care about him at all; he didn’t even look at Ruben.
Ruben rubbed his nose. “All right, I have to get used to talking to people like him. I don’t want to talk to you.”
After putting the things away, RK went out to accompany Stella. He took a glass of water and served it to the woman outside, who was shouting hysterically.
To be honest, the reason was very simple: he didn’t want to ruin the gathering again because of Tristan and Alice. He didn’t expect Seventeen to have such a great influence. RK handed the cup to Tristan and looked at Alice.
“Thank you.” Tristan didn’t expect RK to bring a glass of water for Alice.
Stella also looked at RK, who stood next to her without any expression.
In the end, it was Alice who shouted until she had no strength left and was carried away by Tristan.
“Stella, sorry to trouble you,” Tristan said as he held Alice in his arms and looked at Stella.
“I am fine,” Stella smiled and replied.
After Tristan left, RK held Stella’s hand and went back as well. As soon as Stella and RK entered the house, they saw Ruben looking at Seventeen as if he were a national treasure. Seventeen was helping Adrian peel an apple.
When Ruben heard the sound of the door opening and closing, he knew that Stella and RK were back.
“RK, Sister-in-law, tell me—Seventeen doesn’t seem very approachable. He doesn’t show any expression all day. How can he make such a beautiful woman fall for him so easily?” Ruben raised his chin and looked at Seventeen from head to toe.
