Chapter 639:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
“Where is this place?” Stella looked at RK and asked, surprised to find such a place.
“I found it by accident.” RK smiled at Stella’s delight, feeling that it was worthwhile to drive such a long distance to bring her here. Stella smiled back but didn’t say anything; she found a rock and sat down.
RK walked over to Stella’s side and sat next to her. He put his arm around her shoulder, and she leaned against him.
“Uncle Seventeen, aren’t you happy?” Adrian followed Seventeen to his house and asked.
Seventeen didn’t say anything. He always thought Adrian treated him as a friend. He was very curious about him, which is why he was so kind to Adrian. However, when Adrian asked RK if he could spend the New Year with them, Seventeen didn’t know how to control his expression.
Seventeen, calming down, shook his head and touched Adrian’s head.
Seeing Seventeen shake his head and smile, Adrian felt relieved. He was afraid that Seventeen would be unhappy.
“Uncle Seventeen, did Dad find anything?” Adrian remembered that RK had agreed to help Seventeen investigate what had happened before, so he asked.
Seventeen shook his head. After all, he couldn’t remember anything. He only had an impression of that place, and there was nothing there. It would take some time to find anything.
“It’s okay. Even if you don’t find anything, you still have Adrian.” Adrian climbed onto Seventeen’s lap, hugged his arm, and said.
Seventeen didn’t know what he was feeling now. He wanted to ask Adrian why he was so kind to him, but he was afraid that he wouldn’t have an answer, so he didn’t ask.
“Adrian, why are you so nice to Uncle Seventeen?” He finally mustered the courage to ask.
Adrian was stunned when he heard Seventeen’s voice. He thought about Seventeen’s question; to be honest, he had asked himself many times about this, but there was no answer. “I don’t know,” Adrian honestly replied to Seventeen’s question.

“Uncle Seventeen, can you say something more in the future? Your voice is so pleasant, but you don’t speak for a long time,” Adrian said. He remembered that he couldn’t see Seventeen at that time, but after hearing his voice once, he remembered it.
“Okay.” This time, Seventeen didn’t just nod; he made a sound, responding with just that one word.
“It’s snowing!” Stella exclaimed as she reached out to catch the falling snowflakes.
“Well, it seems that we can’t see the stars anymore.” RK had brought Stella here to see the stars, but it didn’t matter now. The stars couldn’t be seen, but it was good that it was snowing.
Stella smiled and stood up.
RK stood up as well. He took off his jacket and placed it over Stella’s shoulders.
Stella felt her shoulder sink and turned her head to look. “Put it on; I am not cold,” she said, noticing that RK was dressed lightly underneath.
“It’s okay. I’m not feeling cold,” RK insisted, blocking Stella’s hand as she reached to take off his jacket.
Stella didn’t know what to say and could only acquiesce.
“Let’s go; it’s cold on the mountain. It will be hard to get back since it’s snowing,” RK said, taking Stella’s hand and pulling her toward the parking area.
The snow was heavy, and walking on the road was not easy. Fortunately, they had gone down the mountain before the snow became too heavy, so it wasn’t dangerous.
When they got home, it was still light outside. Because it was early in the snow, there were many pedestrians on the road.
RK thought for a moment and then picked up his phone to call Ruben.
“Hello?” Ruben had just finished his shower when he saw the call.
He picked up the phone and answered, “Where are you now?” RK recalled the conflict between Ruben and Emily when they had just gone out and asked. He didn’t know if they had returned to the RK Mansion or not.
“Of course, I am with my Emily.” Ruben looked at Emily, who was lying on the bed pretending to be asleep, and replied.
“Well, then take Emily and Little Adrian to the RK Mansion.” RK didn’t mention Seventeen because he thought that as long as Little Adrian went there, Seventeen would certainly follow.
“Go to the RK Mansion? My sister-in-law has agreed to move to the RK Mansion?” Ruben’s voice immediately became excited as he asked.
“It’s snowing outside.”
RK didn’t answer Ruben’s question but said something else. After that, he hung up the phone.
“Why are you going to the Mansion?” Stella looked at RK in confusion and asked. She didn’t understand what the snowing had to do with going to the RK Mansion.
“The RK Mansion is big, so it’s suitable for Little Adrian to play in the snow,” RK replied to Stella’s question.
Stella nodded. “That’s right. No matter how big the community is, there are still many people in it. Ruben can’t play with Adrian there.”
“Emily, pack up. It’s snowing outside. Let’s go play at the RK Mansion. I will go and get Little Adrian.” Ruben placed the phone on the table, bent down, lifted the quilt on Emily’s bed, and said. He kissed Emily on the forehead, put on his clothes, and went to Seventeen’s house.
Emily didn’t get out of bed until Ruben left.
Ruben knocked on the door, and Seventeen opened it. However, when he looked at Seventeen’s arm, he saw Adrian hanging on him.
Ruben knocked on Adrian’s head. “Put on thicker clothes. Let’s go to the RK Mansion. It’s snowing outside.”
Ruben left after saying that.
