Chapter 691:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Wayne left with Damien. Although Stella and Emily were reluctant to let him go, they both knew Damien had his own life, so they couldn’t say anything.
Wayne promised he would return before Stella and Emily were married.
In the evening, Seventeen went looking for Wayne, wanting to ask more about his identity. Although he had some suspicions, he wasn’t clear on the details.
When Wayne saw Seventeen, it seemed as if he already knew Seventeen would come looking for him.
Wayne asked Seventeen if he was happy with his current life.
Seventeen nodded. Although he had no memory of his past, he was content with his life as it was now.
Wayne continued, “If you like your life so much now, why are you still looking for your original memories? Maybe those memories aren’t so pleasant.”
Seventeen, hearing these words, didn’t want to ask any more questions. Suddenly, she felt that those memories were not so important. If he had forgotten them, what did it matter? He would have new memories to create.
RK was very curious about Wayne’s identity. He was intrigued by the aura Seventeen had and the fact that he didn’t mention his real name. When he saw the watch on Seventeen’s wrist, his curiosity grew even more, but he didn’t quite understand what it represented. Later, it was Adrian who explained a bit about the situation.
Wayne, for his part, just glanced at RK and his expression seemed to indicate that he already knew what he was thinking. To Wayne, identity was less important than the welfare of those around him. As long as he didn’t cause harm to Stella and Adrian, he didn’t care what others thought of him.
That day came the banquet for Ruben.
Everyone in the RK Group knew that Ruben Kingston, RK’s older brother, was well known, but outside the company, many only knew him as a celebrity.
Ruben had decided not to return to the entertainment industry and instead chose to work in his own company. As a result, he threw a party to celebrate his new start.
RK did not want Stella to attend the banquet, but she insisted that it was okay. If she felt tired, she could rest whenever she wished.
The banquet was held at a Kingston Family villa.

Finally, RK agreed, also asking Adrian to attend. They could all stay there overnight, as the guest rooms were ready and well prepared.
If Adrian was there, Seventeen would probably be there as well. However, Stella had many questions. Why hadn’t she seen Alicia return all this time? But she felt too embarrassed to ask.
“Baby!” Adrian exclaimed in surprise when he saw Baby at the banquet.
“Why did you come? I hadn’t told you I was coming. If I hadn’t been hungry and hadn’t come down to get something to eat, I probably wouldn’t have found you today.”
“Are you surprised to see me?” Baby replied with a smile. “I came here with my parents. To be honest, every day at home I kept saying I wanted to come back, so young Master Brook couldn’t take it anymore and brought me here.”
“Well, yes it is a bit surprising,” Adrian admitted, looking around at the people at the banquet. It was only when he saw Mrs. Brook that he was relieved. Fortunately, Baby didn’t run away from home to come here.
“Do you think I’m an idiot, can I fly here by myself?” Baby looked him in the eye and, seeing what Adrian was thinking, gave him a light slap and added:
“Who knows if you come here alone?”
Adrian, pursing his lips, replied, “Considering how much Baby has run away from home, I have to be sure.”
“I was looking for you a while ago,” Baby continued. “I haven’t found you in a while – where were you hiding?!”
Originally, his father had no intention of bringing him here, since he said there would be no children at the banquet. But Baby couldn’t stay quiet, and after insisting so much, young Master Brook finally agreed to bring him.
“Oh, I’m upstairs,” Adrian explained as he took a couple of pieces of cake and placed them on a tray. “I’m a little hungry, so I came downstairs to get something to eat.”
“Then I’ll come up with you. It’s boring staying here,” Baby said, without hesitation. He didn’t really like occasions like this, but he came just to find Adrian.
“It’s up to you, but you’d better go and let your mom know first,” Adrian suggested, worried that Mrs. Brook would worry if she didn’t find him after she came upstairs with him.
“Okay, wait here for me,” Baby quickly replied before running off to find Mrs. Brook.
“Baby, where had you run off to?” Mrs. Brook asked him when she saw that he had disappeared without a trace.
“Hello, Aunt Stella and Aunt Emily. Mommy, I went to get little Rian. I’ll be up with him later. If you want to talk to me, you can ask Aunt Stella where he is,” Baby said as she waved to Stella and Emily. After giving her message to Mrs. Brook, she ran to find Adrian, fearful that he would become impatient.
“This child…” Mrs. Brook looked at Baby and smiled shyly.
“It’s all right. Adrian’s upstairs, too. There’s nothing to do here. Baby must be bored,” Stella commented with a smile. She loved this little boy. He was so lively and adorable.
“Yes,” Mrs. Brook nodded, noting Stella’s sympathy for Baby.
“Young Master Brook, I didn’t expect you to come so soon,” RK said as he clinked his glass with Wayne’s, who had just arrived. “The good thing about this banquet is that at least we’re all gathered together.”
