Chapter 693:
A couple from the Brook family dropped Baby off at the Kingston family home. They said they were going to enjoy their alone time, as bringing Baby would complicate things. They would have to go to the trouble of having him cared for.
Although both Stella and Emily were reluctant to let him go, they understood that Damien and his wife had their own lives, so there was nothing they could do about it. The next morning, they simply disappeared, leaving Baby, who had slept with Adrian the night before.
Young Master Brook had told Adrian not to worry about the watch. It was known to only a few people, and even if someone recognized it, it would be impossible to find Adrian alone with the watch. Besides, since the owner of the watch didn’t want it to be found, it was better not to draw attention to it. Otherwise, things could get complicated.
The next day, when RK saw Adrian, he approached him and took the watch from him. He told him that he would help him modify it and return it to him later. If anyone recognized it in the future, it would be problematic. He also offered to change its appearance, but without touching what was inside.
Seventeen had no objections. Wayne’s words made him think hard.
RK was not worried about Seventeen’s appearance. Since he had lost his memory, he wouldn’t think too much about it.
Originally, Adrian should have started school, but because of Baby’s presence, RK had to ask him for a month’s leave so that he could stay home until Baby left. Besides, he knew Adrian was learning very simple things and had already covered that material. If it weren’t for Stella’s insistence, Adrian would have skipped the class with no problem.
Adrian asked for permission to skip, and Seventeen did as well, taking on the role of teacher to protect Adrian. Since Adrian would not be going to school, Seventeen felt there was nothing else to do there, so he stayed with them.
“Stella, you can rest at home. I’ll go to work,” RK told her as he gave her a soft kiss on her forehead. Even though he didn’t want to go to the company, he knew there was still a lot to do.
“Yes,” Stella replied, nodding. She wanted to do something too, she couldn’t stand being at home all day. But RK disagreed. She said that since she was pregnant, she should rest. If she felt tired, she could stay home without worrying about anything else.
Besides, Adrian wasn’t going to school and Baby was there too. RK asked Stella to stay home to keep an eye on the two of them. What would happen if they decided to escape?
Although Seventeen was there, RK feared that Baby’s cunning might trick him into leaving the house.

“Adrian, don’t you get bored of being home all day?” Baby asked, clearly restless. He was an active child and had been at RK Manor for only two days, but already he wanted to run away.
“I’m not bored,” Adrian quickly replied. “I’m not bored at all.”
“Ouch…” Baby sighed and plopped down on the bed. She didn’t understand how Adrian could stay home without being bored.
“If you’re bored, you can go to the garden,” Adrian suggested, but deep down, he didn’t want Baby to go out. If she did, Stella would worry. She was pregnant, and Adrian didn’t want to add to her worries.
“No,” Baby replied dismissively, ”I don’t want to walk in the garden.”
Adrian looked at Baby, not knowing what to say.
At that moment, Stella knocked on the door. Seeing neither Adrian nor Baby in the living room, she thought they might be in the bedroom and walked over.
“Baby, are you awake yet?” when Adrian opened the door, she reached out to take Stella’s hand.
“Yes, I came to see you. What’s wrong with Baby?” Stella asked, looking at Baby, who was lying on the bed pretending to be dead.
“He wants to run away from home,” Adrian said without hesitation, knowing exactly what Baby was thinking.
Stella didn’t know what to say.
“Seventeen, why don’t you take Adrian and Baby for a walk?” Stella looked over at Seventeen, who was sitting on the couch reading a book. She figured that since Baby seemed so active, he probably didn’t like to stay home all the time.
“Aunt Stella, you’re great!” Baby exclaimed immediately. She jumped up, looking at Stella with a happy smile on her face.
“Well,” RK interjected. “If you guys want to go out, I’ll tell Seventeen. I don’t want Baby to stay home alone.”
“Well, take me to the company on the way, too,” Stella said. She felt like she’d been in bed all day and didn’t want to get sick from being inactive for so long .
