Hugo’s plane landed at the airport at dusk, but as he was about to leave some Customs agents intercepted him.

“Good evening, may I have your documents “.

Hugo sighed and took out his passport. The agent saw the name and photo.

“Would you please come with me.”

“What is this about, I will not move until you give me an explanation”.

“We are sorry sir, but we received an anonymous call saying that you are suspected of bringing drugs, we must search you, as well as the plane and your belongings”.

Hugo could not believe his ears.

“I am no mafioso, I am a businessman and I need to leave right now”.

“I already told you sir that you must accompany me, don’t force me to detain you under arrest.”

“I’m not going anywhere, I need to talk to my wife.”

The policeman made some signs and four other officers approached. Hugo fought back, but eventually they put handcuffs on him and took him away.

They forced him to undress, did blood and urine tests, put him through an X-ray and after a couple of hours they allowed him to make only 1 phone call, he wanted to talk to his wife, but it was already so late so he preferred not to bother her, instead he called Alejandro and threatened to kill him if he didn’t get him out of there.

Alejandro’s flight was long and when he arrived he was able to get Hugo released. In the end he was locked up in a dungeon for 16 hours and when Alejandro saw him his condition was pitiful and his face said he could murder someone at any moment.

He was planning to go directly to see Sara, but Alejandro advised him to take a bath first and then go to see his wife with clean clothes and not stinking of the dungeon. For once Hugo obeyed without grumbling and after a bath in a nearby hotel he left for the mansion he had given his wife.

The first thing that caught his attention was that there were no guards at the entrance and the gate was open, as if they were waiting for him. Hugo glared at Alejandro and he quickly ran to justify himself.

“I didn’t tell anyone that you were coming”.

Hugo did not know whether to believe his treacherous secretary.

When the car finally stopped in front of the doors of the Mansion, they were closed, there was not a light inside or even an employee and apparently the mansion was abandoned, the idea that Sara could have run away went through his mind oppressed his heart. His steps quickened as his heartbeat quickened, he hesitated before turning the doorknob, and it gave way easily.

When Hugo saw the inside of the mansion he thought his eyes betrayed him, the furniture was gone, the paintings and nothing was left of the things he had left before he left, instead the whole room was full of toys, dollhouses, cars, robots and more dolls, there was hardly anywhere to walk and on the walls hung only a 2 meter picture, a giant ultrasound, of which he understood nothing but still moved, suddenly all the lights came on and standing in the center of all the toys was Sara with a small white stuffed animal hugging a pregnancy test and on the label it said.

Congratulations, you are going to be a daddy.
