Chapter 447:

“Allison!” he called out, unable to hide his excitement. He hadn’t expected her to accept his invitation, so seeing her arrive in person was a delightful surprise.
But when he noticed the imposing figure by her side, surprise replaced his initial enthusiasm. “Mr. Lloyd?”
“He’s here to tour the institute with me,” Allison clarified without skipping a beat.
Roderick’s gaze flicked between the two before he motioned warmly for them to enter. “Please, it’s truly an honor!”
They followed him along a walkway of stone slabs that echoed the atmosphere of ancient passageways. The farther Allison walked, the more immersed she felt in the institute’s historic ambiance.
She cast her gaze up to the exhibition hall, lined with rare vases and artifacts, all invaluable reminders of the past. With a broad smile, Roderick gestured and said, “Here we are!”
The lecture hall beyond was already filled with attendees eagerly awaiting the session.
Clearing his throat, Roderick led the way inside.
Outside the door, Allison paused and looked at Kellan beside her. “Why don’t you explore the institute first? I’ll find you after my lecture.”
Dressed sharply in a tailored black suit, Kellan’s presence was commanding, drawing attention naturally.

“That won’t be necessary,” Kellan replied in his usual calm tone. “Since I have some time, I may as well attend. Besides, I’ve yet to see you in action as a lecturer.”
“Alright then, let’s go in together,” Allison said with a slight smile.
As Allison stepped onto the podium, the crowd welcomed her with enthusiastic applause.
Roderick, brimming with excitement, introduced her: “This is the talented Allison Clarke, whom I’ve often spoken of. Her expertise in restoration is unparalleled, even far exceeding my own!”
Despite his years, Roderick’s voice rang out with vigor, commanding the audience’s full attention.
“Today, Ms. Clarke will be leading this session. I’m confident that with her guidance, you’ll gain invaluable insights and make remarkable progress,” Roderick announced warmly, stepping aside with respectful deference to Allison.
In contrast to his animated tone, Allison maintained her usual calm and composed expression.
“Hello, everyone. I’m Allison Clarke, but feel free to call me Allison.”
As she introduced herself, she picked up a stick of white chalk and neatly wrote “Allison” across the blackboard. Her handwriting was striking — a perfect balance of boldness and elegance — which sparked a quiet wave of whispers around the room.
Before long, several students gathered the courage to raise their hands, their voices filled with curiosity.
