Chapter 466:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Inside the stall, Allison held her breath, maintaining a calm exterior. She had elbowed him, but Kellan wasn’t behaving. Though she kept her gaze forward, she could feel the warmth of his breath against her neck, followed by the cool, tentative brush of his lips.
Kellan’s mouth pressed gently to her shoulder.
Allison’s body went rigid, every nerve on high alert. A hot breath brushed her ear, so close it seemed to set her skin aflame.
Just a thin door separated them from the employees outside—laughing, teasing, blissfully unaware. The space between them thickened, forbidden and dangerously intimate. Every second brought them closer to crossing a line they hadn’t agreed on.
Outside, a group of girls chattered, their voices drifting through the walls. One giggled. “Work is work, fun is fun. And you know, Ms. Clarke, I was always rooting for you and Mr. Lloyd!”
Allison didn’t respond, barely hearing it. She felt a tingling sensation, like an electric current running through her shoulders and neck. Then came the nibble on her earlobe, her most sensitive spot.
If it weren’t for his hand supporting her waist, she might have lost her balance from the intensity. But mercifully, the torment didn’t last. Laughter drifted down the hall, signaling that the others were ready to leave.
“Goodbye, Ms. Clarke,” one voice called from outside, fading down the hallway.
“Goodbye,” Allison managed, just as the door clicked shut. The restroom returned to silence.

“You,” she whispered, a tremor in her voice. “You’re insane!”
She shoved him back against the partition with a fierce push, the impact reverberating through the stall. She swatted his hand away.
“If we’re caught, or if photos get out, it’s not just the company’s reputation on the line. We’d both be neck-deep in a scandal,” she hissed, genuinely angry.
She knew, without needing to look in a mirror, that hickeys were left on her skin. She straightened, her expression hardening into steely resolve.
“I shouldn’t have to remind you—we agreed this was just a casual fling. Neither of us was supposed to cross the line.”
The words weren’t just a warning to him; they were a reminder to herself. It was time to cut their losses.
However, Kellan gazed into her eyes, almost mockingly. “Just consider me crazy for a moment. That’s why I crossed the line.”
There was something fierce in his eyes, a hunger he couldn’t mask. Kellan wanted her—not just to be close, but to possess her.
When the heat between them surged, his restraint frayed, making him crave more than he dared to take. The urge to press against her, to claim every inch of her skin, was almost overwhelming. But he knew he had to resist.
Gradually, the red heat in his eyes softened as he released his grip and stepped back from the stall. His expression hardened as he did his best to rein in his predatory desires.
“Carole’s parents once saved my grandmother’s life. My family owes them a debt, a big one.”
