Chapter 443:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
The scooter made its way slowly along the pedestrian street, navigating its length before merging onto the main road.
Before reaching the main road, Roderick eased to a stop, pulled out his phone, and took a moment to check it.
A loud crash echoed as Roderick fell from the scooter, his face lighting up with uncontainable joy.
“The money has been deposited!”
Roderick exclaimed, sitting on the ground and energetically waving his phone.
Curious onlookers turned their heads to see what had happened.
Eileen burst into laughter and helped him to his feet. “Get up. This money can cover everything for your restaurant—rent, renovations, and startup costs. When you open, be sure to let me know, and I’ll definitely be there.”
Roderick stayed on the ground, unmoving, despite Eileen’s attempts to assist him.
A drop of liquid suddenly appeared on the floor, followed by two or three more, making a faint crackling sound.
Eileen came to a complete stop.
“Eileen, I cannot thank you enough.” Roderick clung to Eileen’s leg, tears streaming down his face.
He had finally pieced it all together.

“What are you thanking me for?” Eileen asked, pretending not to understand. “I plan to eat at your restaurant frequently, and that’s going to cost you a fortune.”
Roderick wiped his tears and looked up at her with resolve. “Don’t worry. This gesture will stay with me for life. Your children and grandchildren will always dine for free.”
With his eyes still red, Roderick stood up and made a solemn promise. “I won’t disappoint you. The restaurant will succeed, and I’ll repay you.”
“Carry on,” Eileen patted Roderick on the shoulder. “I need to get back to work. You should focus on your tasks.”
The siblings lingered on the street for a while before going their separate ways.
As soon as Roderick saw Eileen leave, he immediately called Judie.
“Honey, resign from your job. We’re starting a restaurant… Yes, I have the funds. It came… from winning the lottery!”
At the Freguson Group building, Eileen had just walked in when Raymond rushed over to her.
“That cunning Dawson couple is incredibly clever,” he said, presenting her with an invitation.
