Chapter 393:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
A brief silence settled over the room as the weight of what had happened sank in for everyone present. But within that stillness, I felt something else — a sense of movement, of stepping forward. My uncle was gone. The threat had been removed. And for the first time in longer than I could remember, I could breathe without bracing for what came next.
I turned back into Ryder’s arms, feeling my heart swell with love and gratitude. “We’re going to be all right,” I said — more to myself than to anyone else.
“Yes, we are,” he agreed, folding me closer. “But you will never face a fight like that alone again. Are we clear?”
“Yes,” I answered, with a small smile against his chest.
Soft laughter and quiet murmurs of relief rippled through the room, and something settled inside me — something I recognized as certainty. I was no longer fighting only for myself. I was fighting for my family, for the life growing within me, for the future we were building together.
And I would do it all again if I had to. Because I would not let anyone — not even my own uncle — take that from me. As Luna, protecting my people would always be my purpose.

Jasmine’s Point of View:
If there was one thing these past months had taught me, it was that being broken did not mean I couldn’t rise again. My family had shattered me. Those I believed I could trust had betrayed me and driven me to the very edge of despair. My enemies had tried to destroy me, and fate had seemed determined to test me at every turn. And yet — I had not surrendered. I had not let myself be defeated. Here I was, standing stronger than I had ever been.
Life had placed me in impossible situations, and instead of drowning in them, I had built something from the wreckage. I had gone from the fragile omega everyone underestimated to a woman no one had seen coming. A Luna. A leader. A warrior.
I had taken adversity and turned it into power — and in doing so, I had become something undeniable. The weak omega they had dismissed? She was gone. Now I was Jasmine: Luna of a pack, Alpha of another, and a fighter who had come out victorious in every battle life had thrown at her.
Yes, I had made mistakes. Who hadn’t? But every misstep, every stumble, had only made me stronger. And sitting here now, turning it all over in my mind, I felt something I hadn’t always had the luxury of feeling — pride. Satisfaction in who I had become, in what I had overcome, and gratitude for the family I had built.
Nine months as Luna of the Silverclaw pack and Alpha of the Viper pack — nine months of growth, challenges, and hard-won triumphs, all while carrying in my womb the child destined to change our world.
And even after everything, this moment still managed to catch me completely off guard.
“Push!” Dr. Lee’s voice was sharp and clear, cutting through the fog of pain that had consumed me for what felt like an eternity.
