Chapter 592:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Sandra instinctively asked, “Why?”
Lisa finally stopped laughing.
“Why else? It’s because Wesley likes you. He only likes you!”
“By the way, just now, you directly asked me why, instead of, like before, saying it’s not related to you. Haven’t you realized that you are different towards Wesley?”
A sudden realization hit Sandra.
Her heart trembled.
She had never thought about this question. She had always thought that her relationship with Wesley was somewhat special in terms of doctor-patient relations—pure.
Wesley also accepted this relationship and seemed to want to continue. So much had happened during this time; her thoughts were still focused on avenging her master.
Now that her master’s revenge had been avenged, she didn’t know what to do next.
Lisa subtly reminded, “Young Master, shouldn’t you have a child to play with?”
Sandra replied, “I feel like you’re hitting on me, but I have no evidence.”
Lisa laughed again. “But do you really not have any feelings for Wesley? Is there such a thing as an inescapable marriage in this world?”
Sandra was stunned for a moment. The emotions that had been hidden deep within her heart quickly surfaced.
Lisa stopped there, naturally not saying any more.
After the phone call ended, the seaside began to feel somewhat cold. The crowd in the distance also slowly dispersed. The surroundings grew darker and quieter.
Suddenly, Sandra felt as though there was a light in front of her. She was completely stunned.
Not far away, Wesley was holding a bouquet of flowers, with lights twinkling on the petals. He was walking toward her.

She immediately stood up.
The cold wind hit her surroundings, but she didn’t feel cold. Instead, she felt warm.
“How come you’re here?” she asked.
She had been in a bad mood today, planning to explain things clearly to Wesley. She didn’t expect him to come over on his own.
This situation… it was hard not to like.
Her heart was still recalling the words Lisa had said before. Now, seeing this bouquet of flowers again, her emotions became tangled.
Wesley smiled slightly and handed her the flowers.
The roses and baby’s breath together made a pleasing sight. The fragrance of the flowers was pleasant, lifting her mood.
“My wife is alone at the seaside, naturally I can’t rest assured,” Wesley explained.
Sandra was very dissatisfied with this answer.
“But we will soon be divorcing. As you also know, the matters of the Henderson family have been resolved, and what follows doesn’t require you to be involved with me.”
The reason they hadn’t divorced earlier was because Wesley and the Henderson family had some differences. They were considered allies. Now that everything was resolved, it was time to dissolve the alliance.
