Chapter 2105:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
“Killing him won’t solve anything. Even if he didn’t exist, I still wouldn’t stay here forever.”
Rubbing her forehead miserably, Wanda muttered in disappointment, “Understood…”
Apparently, getting rid of Dylan really would change nothing. Christina had already decided to leave.
“Enough bothering our boss. Tonight is supposed to be her welcome party. Everyone, take your seats,” Debra said warmly with a smile.
“Right.” Wanda responded, and soon the entire group happily settled down together for dinner.
One month later, after tormenting Casper until the hatred in his heart was finally satisfied, Waylon personally lit the flames that burned the man alive.
Only then did the vengeance festering inside him begin to ease at last.
Before ending his own life, Waylon called for his butler.
“Sir.” Seeing the resolve in Waylon’s eyes, the butler’s own eyes reddened with grief. “Must you truly go through with this? Is there no way you can change your mind? If you wished to keep living, I would gladly die in your place.”
Waylon gave a weary smile. “You’ve stayed by my side for so many years—you know better than anyone what kind of person I am. I’m exhausted. And besides, you understand what’s been keeping me alive all this time. Revenge was the only thing holding me together. Now that it’s finally complete, I no longer have any reason to remain in this world. For me, death is freedom. It’s time for me to reunite with all my loved ones. Terrence was such a good child, and in the end, I was the one who got him killed.”

The moment Terrence’s name left his lips, Waylon broke down completely, tears streaming down his face. Beside him, the butler’s eyes filled with tears as well, and he hurriedly wiped them away.
He had watched Terrence grow from childhood, and losing him had shattered his heart too.
“Sir, I don’t believe Terrence would ever blame you. If you hadn’t saved him back then, he would have died long ago,” the butler said softly, trying to comfort him.
Waylon swallowed hard, his voice breaking with emotion. “No matter how you look at it, his death still happened because of me. When I meet him again in the next life, I’ll apologize to him properly.”
He looked toward the butler and forced out a faint smile. “I’ve already donated most of my fortune. The remaining assets have all been transferred into your name. Take the money and live well. This estate is yours too. Help me continue caring for the flowers I planted. I won’t be able to tend to them anymore.”
Hearing those words, the butler collapsed to his knees in front of him, sobbing uncontrollably. “Sir…”
“Don’t cry. This should be considered a joyful ending. I no longer have to suffer through this endless torment, both in body and soul. I finally avenged my family. Now I can leave this world in peace.”
Through tear-blurred eyes, the butler watched as Waylon slowly lifted the pistol and pulled the trigger.
