Chapter 2108: (END)

Dylan gently wrapped his arms around her. He answered tenderly, “Of course. Whatever makes you happy. Even if both children took your surname, I wouldn’t care at all. As long as I have you beside me, nothing else matters.”
“My love, thank you for staying with me through everything. I hope we can continue walking through life together until our hair turns white,” Christina whispered softly.
Dylan rested his chin lightly atop her head, his voice low and unwavering. “We will. We’ll stay together until we grow old—until death parts us. And if another life exists after this one, then I hope I’ll find you again there too, so we can love each other forever.”
Christina lifted her head, pressed a gentle kiss against his lips, and smiled warmly. “I want that too. I want us to stay together through every lifetime… never separated again.”
More than twenty years later, inside the basement of an isolated house on the outskirts of the city, two skeletons were eventually discovered. Forensic investigators later confirmed the remains belonged to Brendon and Yolanda.

Brendon had imprisoned and tortured Yolanda for more than a decade. On the day they died, he had gone downstairs to torment her again as usual, only for the chronic poison accumulated inside his body to finally claim his life in agonizing pain. Meanwhile, Yolanda died from severe infection caused by untreated wounds and prolonged starvation.
In the final moments before their deaths, both of them were consumed by overwhelming regret. Yolanda regretted being so foolish that she destroyed her entire life for the sake of a man like Brendon. As for Brendon, he regretted his own stupidity even more—he had thrown away someone as extraordinary as Christina, all for a miserable fate like this.
But once a person walks too far down the wrong path, there is no turning back. No matter how deep their regrets became, they could only carry them into their graves as their tragic lives finally came to an end.

Message from Noa: Have a wonderful weekend dear readers. God loves you and Noa wishes you all the best. (=◡=) /
Also, I wanted to share that I really like Ephesians 5:2, because, at the end of the day, what God wants from all of us is to live a life walking in love: ‘And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God’ (ESV).
