Chapter 1233:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
No one laughed harder than Orlando, and the sound of it pierced through Jovanni, leaving him hollow.
“This can’t be real…”
The outcome shattered every expectation he’d clung to.
It had all been a trap.
“Those useless idiots couldn’t even handle that woman. They’ve dragged me down with them!”
After losing more than a dozen territories, Jovanni could already see what awaited him—returning home would mean walking straight into disaster.
There would be no mercy from the Axe Gang—not after what he’d done.
The damage he caused was beyond repair.
Meanwhile, Orlando could hardly contain himself as he watched Maren step down from the stage. The urge to throw his arms around her was real. Still, he knew better than to try.
His smile stretched so wide, it looked like it might split his cheeks.

“This is it! We’ve struck gold! One win in this Underground Fighter Combat is worth ten years of grinding!” Orlando practically shouted the words, unable to hold back the rush.
Because the gangs in Delley weren’t at war, they couldn’t grow by stealing from rivals. Progress had to come the hard way, bit by bit.
They weren’t business-savvy, and most of the valuable resources were already locked down by others. Everyone wanted to rise, but there simply wasn’t enough to go around.
While the gangs avoided turning on each other and rarely faced serious losses, that peace also meant their progress dragged.
With limited resources on the table, dividing them equally left everyone stuck with scraps.
This time, though, things had taken a sharp turn.
The Dark Hills had just claimed more than a dozen territories—it felt like hitting the jackpot.
“Don’t get carried away just yet. There are still matches left, and we’ve got a shot at claiming even more. Twenty territories are within reach.”
Maren’s words cut through Orlando’s enthusiasm, keeping him grounded. Although the three Axe Gang fighters had been defeated and were now gone for good, the Underground Fighter Combat was far from finished.
Several rival gangs were still in play, each one ready for a final shot at survival.
“That’s right—twenty territories!” Orlando was practically glowing, his grin never fading through the final half of the combat. The remaining rounds played out without a hitch.
Maren dismantled every opponent with ease—none of them lasted beyond her second strike.
When the dust finally settled, the Dark Hills walked away with twenty-one territories, claiming the title of biggest victor. Most of the other gangs walked away with damage.
