“Your mommy just needs my comfort!” William took the opportunity to say, “Can you sleep alone tonight? At least tonight is the night your mommy and I get our marriage license. Can’t you show me some mercy, son?”

“Put your clothes on first!” William helped his son dress.

Sherry came to as she heard voices. She turned to see William dressing his son. And such a scene made her doubly happy, “Tomorrow we can build a snowman. It looks like it’s going to snow all night.”

“Mom, tomorrow I’ll make a big snowman for you!” Dan put on his sweater, “Now I’m going to call Grandpa. I’ll leave you alone for half an hour first.”

As soon as the door opened, Dan’s small face appeared in the doorway with a smile. He shrugged and ignored William’s murderous look before wrapping an arm around Sherry’s waist, “Mom, I’m here to protect you until Grandpa comes to pick us up!”

“Of course!” Dan lifted his chin and announced fearlessly, “Grandpa said if you wanted to marry my mom, come take her away in a palanquin! Otherwise, there’s no way to keep you from not going to hell!”

“He really said that?” William couldn’t believe Cohen was so nonchalant.

“If you don’t believe me, call Grandpa and ask him! Mommy, let’s go to my room so you can read me a story. From now on, don’t worry, I’ll protect you strictly according to Grandpa’s request!”

“Good! Let’s go read you a story.” Sherry took her son’s hand and was about to leave.

“I don’t have time. From today on, I’ll be Mom’s personal bodyguard and protect her from perverts.”

William was speechless-what the hell? He had a marriage license with Sherry and he still needed his son’s approval to have sex with her.
