Chapter 2155:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Three days later, both Janet and the baby were doing well, prompting Brandon to announce the birth publicly.
Immediately after the news was released, the websites of both Brandon’s and Janet’s companies nearly crashed. The entrance to the private hospital was quickly besieged by a large crowd of journalists, friends, and various business partners, all bearing expensive gifts for Janet and the newborn.
From her window, Janet looked out at the large crowd below, feeling quite overwhelmed. Their phones were also ringing off the hook with calls and messages.
Frank entered the room, visibly stressed, and asked Brandon, “What should we do now? If we don’t manage this situation soon, my hospital will be overwhelmed. Should we call the police?”
Brandon shot Frank a stern look and cautioned, “No. The birth of my child is a happy event. We can’t have any disturbances.”
Janet pondered for a moment and then said, “Perhaps we could post a polite message on social media, asking friends not to visit. We appreciate their kindness, but we need our privacy.”
Brandon agreed, smiling. “Alright, let’s do that.”
They quickly posted a message online asking friends not to visit, explaining the reasons, and highlighting the need to avoid causing disruptions at the hospital. With the help of the hospital’s security, the crowd was eventually cleared after two hours.
However, not long after, Frank returned, still looking troubled, and said helplessly, “Elizabeth insists on visiting Janet and the baby. She’s already in my office. What should I do now?”
Brandon looked at Janet for her input.

Feeling somewhat resigned, Janet nodded and replied, “Let her in.”
Soon after, Elizabeth arrived with several colleagues from W Marks, and even Draco tagged along.
Upon seeing the baby, they started showering him with compliments.
“The baby is so adorable.”
“Janet’s child is truly beautiful.”
“What a handsome boy!”
“With such great genes from his parents, he’s bound to be good-looking.”
The group continued with their praises, even complimenting Janet and Brandon, causing Janet to blush slightly.
Elizabeth and the designers presented the clothes they had crafted for the baby and began another round of flattery.
“With his cuteness, our clothes will definitely enhance his charm.”
“I think when he grows a bit more, he could even be a model.”
“Absolutely! It would be a waste not to use such good genes.”
“Definitely, starting him young will surely make him a heartbreaker in the future.”
Janet was at a loss for words due to their overwhelming comments. However, before she could respond, Brandon began ushering them out with a stern look.
“Thank you for coming, but it’s time to leave. Janet still needs a lot of rest, and she’s quite weak.”
Elizabeth and the others felt slightly uncomfortable but understood, noting Janet’s pale complexion. They quickly said their goodbyes and left.
As they were leaving, Sonia and Johanna arrived to bring Janet some homemade soup, accompanied by Lexi.
Sonia set the thermos beside Janet’s bed. “I made this soup myself. It’s been simmering for several hours.”
Moved by the gesture, Janet smiled. “Thank you.”
Lexi, somewhat shyly, presented two sets of baby clothes. “I made these outfits myself. They’re not fancy, but I hope you like them.” Contrary to her usual trendy style, Lexi had crafted simple and elegant garments for the baby this time.
Janet examined the clothes, felt the material, and inquired, “Is this pure cotton? It feels very soft and seems perfect for the baby to wear. Thank you.”
Lexi’s face lit up with a smile. “I’m just glad you like them.”
Janet smiled and responded, “Why wouldn’t I? These clothes are great. I’ll have the baby wear them tomorrow.”
Sonia chimed in, “I also love this simple and elegant style. It’s not only attractive but comfortable too. Maybe you should consider this style more often.”
After a moment of thought, Lexi nodded and replied, “Alright, I’ll try.”
