Chapter 752:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Armand coughed lightly and jocularly in Boyce’s direction as he laughed, “A woman is better than you.”
Boyce turned his body away from him as he groaned, “You have foul breath. Stay away from me.”
Armand glared at him, “You’re the one with the bad breath.”
As he said that, he threw a wink at Jasmine that indicated he was seeking approval of his opinion of Boyce’s bad breath from her.
Jasmine could feel her cheeks burning, “If you bully us now, I won’t say anything nice in front of your future bride. We’ll even blurt out bad comments about you and force her to separate from you.”
Armand didn’t know what to say to that.
This hateful bitch!
Dolores laughed bitterly, “Armand, that’s enough. See, you’re embarrassing them.”
Armand sat down and picked up a pair of chopsticks, looking like he was about to start eating, “This is a golden opportunity. Otherwise, once we get through this town, we won’t have any chance to see Boyce blush anymore.”
“You’re the one blushing here,” Boyce said awkwardly.
“Boyce, you put that drink down with Jasmine. You’ve got to shut Armand up.” Dolores interjected cheerfully.

Jasmine thought Dolores would side with Boyce and her, but it turned out she was now on Armand’s side. Jasmine cooed coquettishly, “Lola, my sister-in-law, stop bullying us.”
“Hey, hey, now you’re calling her so intimately. Faster this cross beer.” Armand again tried to warm up the atmosphere.
Jasmine directed a death glare at Armand, “Of course I’ll follow Boyce’s form of address.”
Armand held up his hands innocently. Deep down, he was reluctant to see Jasmine and Boyce showing their charm in front of him now. Damn it, their relationship was in jeopardy now, so he didn’t dare see another happy couple.
“Faster, you. It’s just a crossed mug of beer. I’m not even asking you to toast your love in front of us.”
Jasmine winked-what did she mean by a toast to our love?
Matthew cautioned, “Don’t overdo it.”
It was one thing to tangle, but it was another to overdo it.
Armand smiled wryly as he stuffed a piece of beef rib into his mouth. He swallowed it and commented, “This is a rare opportunity.”
Boyce picked up his chopsticks, wanting to dismiss the whole cross-brewed beer thing, but before he could pretend nothing had happened and pick up a piece of duck blood, Matthew’s voice was heard, “Don’t be hasty. Finish the cup Armand poured you first.” Boyce was speechless at that moment.
Hadn’t this episode just ended?
He slowly looked up.
Dolores was covering a smile with her hand.
Armand let out a low chuckle, and Boyce immediately shooed him away, “What the hell are you laughing at?”
“Don’t blurt out expletives in front of your future wife.” Armand patted his chest and continued, “I won’t laugh anymore. Can’t you see everyone is waiting for them to have a cross beer? You should be a man and stop doing such things. You’re not manly at all.”
Boyce let out a snort and raised a glass of beer. Then he turned to look at Jasmine.
Jasmine reached out to him in a cooperative manner.
Boyce hooked his arm around hers awkwardly, and it was obvious that the couple was embarrassed by it. However, because of the attraction of the others around them, they could not overlook this without doing something.
The three watched the couple finish their crossbrewed beer, and Armand began to applaud, “This is pretty good…”
Boyce put down his glass and shot him a look, “You’ll just have to wait.”
Armand’s face immediately turned sour, “I can’t wait for you to come with me, but from the looks of it, I don’t see any opportunities like this anytime soon.”
He questioned the lady again with a knife to her neck as he threatened, “If you keep forcing my hand, I will really die in front of you.”
The young lady was very calm: “You won’t do it”. Armand had nothing to say to that.
“I’m the one who raised you. Don’t you think I should know you thoroughly?” Armand immediately deflated like a balloon upon hearing that.
“You should drink more. This is my wedding feast.” Boyce poured some alcohol for Armand.
Armand commented, “You really are despicable.”
Boyce let out a laugh, “You’re not one to say that.”
Boyce turned to pour a drink for Matthew, “Since today is our wedding feast, you should drink more.”
Matthew came back with a question, “Do you hold a grudge against me?”.
“Do I strike you as someone who remembers his grudges?” Boyce showed a solemn expression.
Matthew raised his glass and toasted Armand, and they both drank in one gulp. Then he said, “This glass is all I’m going to drink.” It wasn’t good to drink too much. Besides, Dolores only had him by her side at that moment. If she didn’t feel well while he was drunk, he wouldn’t be able to tell.
He was a good drinker, though.
Boyce knew his reasons, so he just refilled Armand’s glass, “I know you need to blow off some steam. Things will go better if you drink more.”
Armand wasn’t one to turn down his drinks. After all, it was only alcohol.
“I won’t get drunk no matter how much I drink at your wedding reception.”
Dolores took a sip of her fruit juice and toasted Jasmine at the same time, “Congratulations on your marriage. I didn’t know you were already registered so son. I’ll send a gift soon as compensation.”
Jasmine smiled, “You don’t have to.”
“It’s an obligation.” She didn’t have much time at the moment, so she could only wait until next time.
Jessica came to deliver Dolores’ food at that moment, but she noticed that Dolores had eaten. The whole house was filled with the aroma of the hot pot. Everyone was busy enjoying the meal. Dolores asked Jessica if she had eaten when she invited her to join them. Jessica replied that she had eaten at home before coming here.
After the meal, Jessica opened the windows to air out the house. The restaurant workers came in to take away the dishes. They were all paid for by Boyce, who had already spent a lot just for this occasion.
They all engaged in a brief conversation before deciding to call it a day. Dolores had to rest.
Armand left the house with Boyce, but halfway through his departure, he visited the washroom. Boyce and Jasmine left the hospital first.
Since they had been drinking heavily, Boyce had called for a driver.
In a short time, the driver arrived, so Boyce handed him the car key and told him the address.
He and Jasmine took a seat in the back.
Jasmine did not approach him while he was in the car. They had both straightened their bodies as if slightly nervous.
Soon, the car arrived at their destination. Boyce paid for the ride and retrieved the car keys before they ventured into their communal area.
Normally, Jasmine would hold his arm, but now it was different. Boyce had taken the initiative to invite her to sleep together, and deep in her heart, she knew what that would entail.
At that moment, she had butterflies in her stomach.
