Chapter 864:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
“Today a woman came, she even told me to call her aunt, what is her relation to us?”. Dolores deliberately talked about the matter that day.
She knew Matthew’s feelings at that time, she deliberately tried to distract his attention with other things.
Matthew gave a glance, “What woman?”
“She said I should call her aunt,” Dolores said.
Matthew quickly understood that it must be Benjamin’s wife.
He discussed the matter with Dolores, “We don’t have many members in the family, father had a brother in his generation, but he is long gone, while in my generation there is only me. Benjamin must be traced from the previous generation as grandfather also had a younger brother in his generation. But Grandpa’s younger brother was not good in business. He had opened two subsidiary companies and both went bankrupt, then he too realized he had no talent in doing business so he quit. He has the shares of WY Group and a son, Benjamin, who is of the same generation as my father. But they didn’t really communicate.”
“Since he’s eccentric and doesn’t really communicate, then how did he know father had passed away so quickly?” Dolores was confused.
A dark light shone in Matthew’s eyes, when Jayden was alive, he was very well behaved, then when Jayden had just passed away, he immediately became active, there must be something.
Dolores took the initiative to grab his hand, “No matter what you want to do, let’s leave it for later.”
The most important thing was to take care of Jayden’s funeral arrangements, she whispered and asked, “Will they bury him next to mom?”.
After Victoria left, Jayden was very sad, he regretted not showing his feelings to Victoria in life, they were husband and wife for life, Dolores thought that although they both did not declare their feelings, they definitely had such a feeling for each other, staying under the same roof from morning till night, normally, they would have feelings naturally after time.

Sleeping in the same bed and being buried in the same grave after death was also a good ending.
Matthew nodded.
Dolores was fine with that.
Amanda suddenly opened the door, walked in and threw herself into Dolores’ embrace, Dolores pulled Amanda to her hips, lightly stroking her back, “Are you hungry?”
Amanda shook her head; she leaned into Dolores’ embrace and said,
“Mommy, I miss Grandpa.”
Dolores hugged her tightly, kissed her forehead.
“Give it to me.” Matthew held out his hands.
Dolores gave it to him, Amanda had grown so big she could hardly carry her.
“Daddy,” Amanda’s eyes were quite puffy because she was crying and not resting well.
Dolores got up and left the room, there were people in the house, it wouldn’t be good for both Matthew and her to stay in the room, there must be someone to greet people outside.
Coral was clearing the dining room table, Dolores came over, she whispered to ask if everyone had eaten, Coral said they had eaten a little.
Just a little soup.
Dolores nodded, walked to the living room and looked at Jasmine, “Jasmine, have you had any dinner?”. Jasmine said she had already eaten.
“You are pregnant, you shouldn’t get tired, just go home with Boyce, there is nothing here now anyway.” Dolores was afraid that Jasmine would get tired and not be able to rest well there.
Boyce said, “Then I’ll send Jasmine home.” Later, she would come back.
At that point, Matthew needed someone by his side.
Even if the funeral company would take care of it, there were still a lot of things they had to arrange themselves, there were no family members who could help them get things done, how was he going to stand on the sidelines at that point?
Dolores nodded, she arranged a room for Armand and Theresa to rest, Armand did not sleep, Boyce sent Jasmine home and returned.
The three of them went out, Dolores asked nothing, she could feel more at ease with the two of them by Matthew’s side.
She took care of the children at night, letting Coral and Jessica rest, Coral said, “You can’t take care of them by yourself, let me take care of the little one, the other two are more sensible and better.”
Jessica took care of Kevin downstairs, Jayden’s death hit her hard.
Theresa was also in the room, she couldn’t sleep so she went to keep Dolores company and help them take care of the kids as well.
After midnight, they were all sleepy and fell asleep one after the other.
Dolores squinted her eyes for a while but kept dreaming, then woke up and couldn’t sleep anymore, she didn’t eat anything for a day and a night her mouth was very dry…. He got up, covered the two children and Theresa with blankets, then went to the table to pour himself some water, he was going to go back to bed after drinking it but noticed there was a dim light outside, he went to the window, glanced down and found a car parked downstairs, the light inside the car was on, it looked like someone was inside but didn’t come down.
Boyce was sitting in the front passenger seat, Armand sat in the driver’s seat, and Matthew sat in the back seat by the window…. Basically, almost every issue had been resolved, using the best cinerary coffin, casket, and many other things.
All of that was a comfort to the living; people couldn’t go back even if they used better stuff.
Boyce touched the cigarette he was holding with his mouth to give himself a boost, it was the only one he smoked among the three of them, since Jasmine was pregnant, he thought about quitting.
Matthew held out his hand asking for a cigarette, Boyce looked at him hesitantly but still pulled out a cigarette and gave it to him.
Boyce even leaned his body back to light the cigarette for Matthew.
Matthew had never smoked, but he wanted to use something to calm himself at that moment.
He wasn’t really adapted to the smell, so he choked and frowned slightly.
