Happy Ending
Allison gave Teresa a nod and went inside. Elora and Teresa both joined her. The bodyguards got out of the cars, opened the trunk of Allison’s car, and took out the items before entering the salon.
A beautiful woman approached Allison and respectfully bowed to her.
“Welcome, Luna. Long time, no see.”
Allison smiled at her and replied, “Selena Harris, how are you?”
“I was fine, Luna. But after hearing from you and being given such a significant opportunity, I am more thrilled than I could have ever imagined.”
Allison chatted with her for some time and introduced Elora and Teresa.
Selena and her staff prepared everything for Elora first because Allison said she and Teresa would get ready later, after Elora. The whole day went by. It was evening. Allison gave her phone a quick check and saw that Ryan had called.
She paid it no attention and instead concentrated on her makeup.
After she had finished getting ready, she stood in front of the mirror to examine her appearance.
Selena gave her a friendly smile and remarked,
“Just like the Alpha said that day, the most beautiful girl.”
After a chuckle, Allison expressed her gratitude to her.
She turned her head to look at Elora, who was wearing a beautiful white gown and looked stunning.
She seemed happy with her bridal look. On the other hand, Teresa looked gorgeous in a rose-gold dress.
“We have to go now,” Teresa said. Max had informed her that guests were waiting in the hall for the bride.
After saying their thanks to Selena, they left the salon. They traveled for half an hour before arriving at the pack house. As they approached the hall, they noticed a few ladies standing outside holding bouquets.
“We were waiting for you, Luna,” Cynthia, Wade’s mate, informed.
“Since you are all bridesmaids, come stand behind her.”
Allison smiled warmly and stepped aside. All four ladies stood behind Elora and entered the hall with her. Allison and Teresa walked in a minute later to avoid drawing attention away from Elora.

As soon as Allison walked in, everyone turned their attention to her and bowed.
She walked with her head held high and nodded to them. Her gaze was drawn to the man standing off to the side, staring at her. Teresa followed her gaze.
“Go to your mate. I’m going to mine,” Teresa said and went to stand beside Max.
Allison walked to Ryan. He was in a black tuxedo, looking more than perfect. The more she could say about his handsome features, the less it would be.
She stood next to him and ignored his gaze.
She smiled at his parents and then at her own.
Everyone gathered close to the stage. Ethan was holding Elora’s hand, taking vows of promise. He appeared content with the second chance fate had given him. Allison’s heart swelled with a sense of relief. At this point, nobody had any problems. Everyone had found their life partner and was happy with them.
“You look hot,” she heard a whisper but chose not to pay attention to it. When Ryan put his hand on her waist, she immediately shifted her attention to him.
She cast a quick glance at their families, who were clapping and applauding for the newlyweds.
Max gave tips to Colin, Owen, Vernon, and Wade, since their time would be coming soon. The celebration party went on for a while, and it was time for everyone to leave.
Ryan was talking to his friends and Ethan when his eyes suddenly fell on Allison.
She was conversing with some alphas from different packs.
“You all continue. I am leaving,” Ryan said to them.
“Where?” Colin asked.
Ryan glanced at Ethan. Ethan nodded and said to Colin, “Let him go. He will join us tomorrow.”
Meanwhile, Allison was engaged in conversation with an alpha when she suddenly felt an arm wrap around her waist.
She didn’t need to know who it was.
“Alpha.”
The other alphas greeted and bowed to Ryan. Everyone was required to show respect to him because he was the king of the alphas.
“Looks like you all are in a deep conversation,” he muttered, glaring at the alphas.
“No, no. We were just talking about our packs. You two can talk. Please excuse us,” one of them said. Ryan kept glaring at them until they left.
“Why did you scare them away?” Allison asked.
“Let’s go.”
“Where?” she asked with a surprised tone.
“You’ll find out soon,” he replied, dragging her outside. He opened the door of his car, and she looked confused.
When he sat in the driver’s seat, Allison asked, “Ryan, the ceremony isn’t over yet.”
“The newlywed couple knows about it.
So you don’t have to be concerned.”
Allison remained silent during the ride. The car stopped close to the forest. Ryan got out of the car and opened the door for her.
She reached out and took his hand when he extended it. As soon as she stepped out of the car, she realized where they were.
“This is the way to…” she mumbled.
“Let’s go.”
They ventured deeper into the woods. Walking was difficult for her because she was wearing heels. Noticing this, Ryan lifted her into his arms.
“Ryan.”
“I can’t see my baby feeling hurt,” he said, carrying her to their destination. When they were close, he set her down.
She was amazed by what she saw.
It was the lake Ryan used to call their special place. On the other hand, he had embellished the area with strings of yellow lights in the trees. There was a white mattress, pillows, and a blanket spread out on the ground near the lake.
Since everything on the ground was white, it appeared as an incredible sight in the moonlight.
The entire scene felt like a dream.
Allison took off her heels and sat on the mattress. Ryan followed her and sat next to her. He noticed her expression when she saw his black shirt and jacket on the bed.
She turned her head to the side and looked directly at him before asking, “Where did you find these? They were in my—”
“House?”
“You went to my old house?”
He nodded in response.
“When I went to pick up your parents in the evening, I checked your room and found them in the closet.”
“You went to pick up Mom and Dad?” she asked, shocked.
“Yeah. They are Alpha Ryan’s in-laws. I made the mistake of speaking roughly about your dad in a meeting a year ago.
So today, every alpha saw what he and your mother mean to me, and they should not mess around with them.”
Allison hugged him.
“Thanks, Ryan.”
He gently rubbed her back with his palms.
“Anything for you, baby. Are you still mad at me?”
She pulled away from the embrace and smiled sheepishly.
“Honestly, I wasn’t mad at you. I was just pretending.”
“Baby, you’re getting naughty.”
Saying that, he pressed his lips to hers. He started to kiss her gently, but it soon turned wild. When he moved away, he wiped her lips softly with his thumb.
“You’re spoiling me,” Allison said with a smile.
He pecked her lips and replied with a grin, “You can be my spoiled wife. But I shouldn’t have let those alphas go. I don’t like how they look at you.”
Allison laughed at his jealous expression and cupped his face.
“My baby, just relax. They’re already afraid of you.”
They spent the night under the moonlight, talking about how they reached this stage in their lives. Allison stared at the glistening lake water, her head resting against Ryan’s chest. They wrapped themselves in the blanket and hugged each other close.
“Sometimes, I wonder what I did to deserve you as my mate, Ryan,” she mumbled.
Memories of her past played through her mind like a movie. It all started at the club. They met, he chased her, she ignored and neglected him, he helped her move, he made her fall in love with him, and they entered a loving relationship. But fate separated them for a long time. They met again in a different situation, realized each other’s mistakes, and came together once more.
“You’re wrong. I’m the lucky one. You changed my life, Allison. After finding you, I understood what love is. Because of you, I’m living a happy life with my family. You taught me that power is not the only thing we need in life; we also need love.”
“I love you, Ryan.”
“I love you too, Allison.”
“Will we always be together like this?”
“I promise. Forever.”
She turned her head toward him, thinking of something to tease him.
“You know, omegas always look for love, so if you ever change, I’ll look for someone else, you know.” She joked and chuckled.
She felt him turn her body to face him.
She looked into his eyes as he leaned in close.
“I will never change, and I know you will never leave me. Because…” He paused and smiled at her. He kissed her forehead and said, “You are mine, Omega.”
