Chapter 391:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Movement caught my eye, Alex, standing at the edge of the stage, holding Ava’s hand. I smiled, pride swelling in my chest.
“I still remember when word spread that I was having an affair with Dom,” I said, shaking my head, and the room broke into laughter. “It was hilarious, everyone assumed I was sleeping with my own brother. Now that the truth’s out, it’s time you all met who my actual husband is.”
I turned toward Alex, motioning for him to hand Ava off, and he did, nodding.
“Come on up, Alex,” I said into the mic. He crossed the stage toward me, looking at me like I was the best thing he’d ever laid eyes on.
“Everyone, meet my husband.”
The moment the words left my mouth, camera flashes lit up the room until it nearly blinded me.
I turned away from them, leaning into Alex. “I have something to tell you,” I whispered against his ear. “Something personal. I don’t know how you’ll take it, and I haven’t told anyone else, but I can finally tell you now.”
He took my hand, warm, steady, sure.
“What is it?” he asked, gentle, patient.

“I found out a week ago,” I whispered, voice trembling slightly, unsure what to expect. “I’m pregnant.”
His body went rigid, and after what felt like forever, he let out a slow breath, wrapping his arms around me tightly before dropping to one knee.
I gasped in surprise.
“We’re already married,” I said, wide-eyed, biting back laughter as tears slid down my face.
He looked up at me, a mischievous grin spreading across his face. “Don’t care. I want to marry you again,” he said, eyes bright with excitement. “I want to renew our vows. I want to give you the wedding I should have given you the first time.”
The crowd melted, cooing, cheering, applauding, laughing.
I nodded, my heart full to bursting. “Yes,” I said breathlessly. “Yes, I’ll marry you a thousand times over.”
He stood, pulled me into his arms, and kissed me, while somewhere behind us Dom let out a loud groan. “Took you long enough.”
I laughed through happy tears. Even now, Alex still found ways to surprise me, and I loved him even more for it.
When we finally pulled apart, Dominic extended his hand toward Alex.
Alex looked surprised but shook it firmly.
“Welcome to the family,” Dominic said, sincere, warm.
“Thank you.”
The rest of the night blurred together, more introductions, more congratulations, endless photos, alone and with my family. The weight of the day pressed down steadily, heaviest when I spotted Vanessa and Alex’s mother approaching.
They smiled at me like they hadn’t once tried to tear me apart.
“If we’d known you were a Graham, we never would have treated you that way,” Vanessa said, sounding almost sincere. I knew better.
