Chapter 1320:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
“The foundations were built on blood, Richard,” Liam said, his voice cold and steady. He didn’t even look at the gun. He just looked at Davenport with a deep, searing pity. “You tried to kill my son. You thought because you had money and shadows, you were untouchable. You forgot that shadows only exist because of the light.”
“I’ll kill you!” Davenport leveled the pistol at Liam’s chest. “I’ll kill you and then I’ll find her!”
A muffled thwip sounded from the shadows of the corner. Davenport’s head snapped back, a neat, dark hole appearing in the center of his forehead. He collapsed like a puppet with its strings cut, his pistol clattering uselessly on the marble floor.
Alistair stepped out from behind a pillar, his suppressed sidearm still raised. He looked at the body with clinical detachment. “He was always a bore, Liam. Too much talking, not enough strategy.”
“Skye found them,” Liam said, his voice tight. He looked at the tablet on the table, where a single pulsing node was moving across the Mediterranean. “They’re in Monaco. The Seraphim yacht. Every head of the hydra is on that boat, trying to hide behind Gabriel’s firewalls.”
“Then let’s go finish it,” Alistair said, reloading his weapon. “My team is already at the airfield. We can be in Monaco in ninety minutes.”
Liam looked at the body of the man who had been his mentor, his rival, and finally his enemy. He felt no satisfaction, only a deep, bone-weary exhaustion. The corporate war was over, but the real fight was just beginning.
“She’s controlling the boat from the mountain,” Liam said, his eyes on the map. “She has the doors locked. They’re trapped, Alistair. They’re sitting ducks.”
“The Oracle doesn’t miss,” Alistair said, heading for the door.
Liam followed him, pausing only to look out at the city one last time. The sun was rising, casting long shadows across the Thames. For the first time in months, he felt like he could breathe. Skye was the sword, he was the shield, and together they were finally going to put the ghosts of Ouroboros to rest.

As they boarded the private jet, Liam’s phone buzzed. A single message from the mountain.
I’m ready. Come home.
The Mediterranean sun was a brilliant, cruel diamond, reflecting off the azure waters of the Monaco harbor. Aboard the Seraphim, the air was thick with the scent of expensive leather and the metallic tang of fear. The twelve members of the Ouroboros board sat in the soundproofed main lounge, their phones dead, their tablets glowing with the same terrifying message: ASSETS DISCONNECTED. IDENTITY NULLIFIED.
Gabriel sat at the head of the table, his fingers flying across his glass interface. His face was slick with sweat, his eyes darting frantically across the screen. “She’s too fast,” he whispered, more to himself than to the board. “It’s not just an AI. It’s a mind. She’s anticipating my counter-hacks before I even execute them.”
“Do something!” shrieked one of the board members, a woman who had once controlled the pharmaceutical trade of half of Asia. “We are sitting ducks here!”
“The doors are locked,” Gabriel said, his voice flat with despair. “The engines are slaved. She’s shut down the stabilizers. We’re drifting into the main shipping lane.”
