Chapter 1321:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Suddenly, the massive television screen in the lounge flickered to life. The Oracle’s mask appeared, a fractured digital face that seemed to be made of starlight and shadow.
“The doors are locked, Gabriel,” Skye’s voice boomed through the yacht’s PA system, synthesized and terrifyingly calm. “I’ve broadcast your GPS coordinates to every naval patrol in the region. I’ve also sent the decrypted files of your ‘Project Lazarus’ to the International Criminal Court. In ten minutes, you will no longer be billionaires. You will be fugitives with no names and no money.”
“You can’t do this!” Gabriel shouted at the screen. “You’re destroying the balance!”
“The balance was a lie,” Skye’s voice replied.

A muffled roar sounded from above. A black tactical helicopter flared over the yacht, its rotors whipping the water into a frenzy. Two figures rappelled down from the cabin with a speed that spoke of years of practice.
Liam and Alistair hit the deck of the Seraphim with a heavy, purposeful thud. They moved through the yacht with lethal grace, bypassing the electronic locks that Skye opened for them in real time.
Liam blew the hinges off the lounge doors with a localized thermite charge. The smell of burning metal filled the room as he stepped inside, his weapon raised, his eyes locking onto Gabriel.
“This is for the hospital,” Liam growled, the raw power of his voice silencing the room.
Gabriel looked at him, then at the screen, then at the gun. He realized then that Julian had been right. The world didn’t belong to the planners or the bankers anymore. It belonged to the people who were willing to fight for what they loved.
“Wait,” Skye’s voice came through Liam’s earpiece. “Liam, don’t. Look at them.”
Liam paused. He looked at the twelve most powerful people in the world. They were huddled in the corners of the room, their expensive clothes rumpled, their faces pale and pathetic. Without their money and their secrets, they were nothing. They were just old, frightened people.
“Let the world judge them,” Skye’s voice continued, her tone softening. “If you kill them now, you become what they are. Let them rot in a cage where their money can’t reach. Let them be forgotten.”
Liam looked at Gabriel, who was shaking, his brilliance gone, replaced by a hollow, animal terror. Liam slowly lowered his gun. He realized then that killing them would be an act of mercy. Letting them live in a world where they were nobodies, that was the true punishment.
“The Oracle has spoken,” Liam said, his voice echoing in the silent room.
He turned and walked back to the deck, where Alistair was already signaling the naval patrol.
The Seraphim was falling, and with it, the last of Ouroboros.
The war was over. The media called it a “coordinated global crackdown on financial irregularities,” a sanitized phrase for the most massive redistribution of power in human history. The Monaco Twelve were in custody, their empires dismantled, their names erased from the ledgers of the elite.
