Chapter 1322: (END)
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Skye stood in the nursery of Kensington Manor, the moonlight streaming through the window in long silver ribbons. The silence in the house was no longer a siege; it was finally, truly peaceful. She watched Freddy sleep, his tiny chest rising and falling in the perfect, rhythmic innocence of a child who would never know the monsters his parents had fought.
The weight of the Chimera was gone. She had purged the system and initiated the self-destruct sequence on the mountain base before she left. The cathedral of ice was now a tomb, its servers melted, its secrets buried under a million tons of Alpine rock. The Oracle was once again just Skye.
Liam walked into the room, his footsteps quiet on the plush rug. He looked exhausted, the lines around his eyes deeper than they had been a month ago, but the tension in his shoulders had finally vanished. He wrapped his arms around Skye from behind, pulling her back against his chest.
“It’s over,” he whispered, his voice thick with relief.
“For now,” Skye said, leaning her head back against his shoulder.
They stood there for a long time, three lives forged in the fire of a secret war, now finally allowed to cool. The wooden horse sat on the mantel downstairs, its silver key tucked away in a safe that only Skye could open. It was a memento now, a reminder of a man who had changed their lives and then left them with the tools to save themselves.
“I bought a place in the Cotswolds,” Liam said after a while. “No glass walls. No high-tech security. Just a farm, some horses, and a lot of grass. Alistair thinks I’m retiring. Maybe I am.”
“I’d like that,” Skye said, a genuine smile touching her lips.

She looked at her son, a new life in a world she had fought to cleanse. The future was no longer a battlefield to be won; it was a blank page, waiting to be written in something other than code. For the first time in her life, the Oracle was home.
Thousands of miles away, in a high-security prison in The Hague, Gabriel sat in his cell. He stared at the blank concrete wall, a small, knowing smile on his lips. He leaned forward and whispered into the corner of the room, where a tiny, microscopic red light flickered on a hidden camera.
“You missed one, Skye,” he whispered. “The serpent always eats its tail. It’s a circle. You can’t delete a circle.”
Across the world, in a server farm buried deep under the Greenland ice cap, a single line of code began to execute itself. It was a fragment of the Chimera. Not the sword Skye had wielded, but something else. A seed.
But in the manor, Skye didn’t see the screen. She didn’t hear the hum of the distant servers. She only saw her husband’s eyes and her son’s smile. She reached out and took Liam’s hand, her fingers interlocking with his.
“Let’s go to bed, Liam,” she whispered.
“Okay,” he said.
They walked out of the room together, leaving the nursery in the soft, protective glow of the moonlight. The ghosts were gone, the fire was out, and the circle, for now, was broken.

Message from Noa: Have a beautiful day lovely readers. God loves you and Noa wishes you all the best. (ɔO‿=)ɔ ♥
Did you know that the life you’re living today is the result of whether or not you’ve guarded your heart?
God gives us this counsel in His Word: Above all else, guard your heart, for it sets the course of your life. (Proverbs 4:23)
Why should I guard my heart? And what would I need to guard it from? God has given us a heart worth taking care of—a heart that has to be guarded from the things that pull us away from Him and from His truth. If the heart is what sets the course of my life, am I going to let it steer me while it’s clouded with anger and resentment? With guilt and fear? With envy and comparison? With deception and false hope?
Guard your heart. Keep it in Jesus Christ, and He will keep your life.
