Chapter 581:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Sophia felt her heart skip a beat.
“You’re late, Bryan,” Alpha Harry said, moving from his younger son to greet his elder.
Bryan looked at his father and replied, “I was busy with the meeting, Dad.”
“Your family was waiting for you. At the very least, you shouldn’t have scheduled work today,” Juliana added.
Bryan gave them a respectful nod.
His eyes scanned the room until they locked with Sophia’s.
As soon as their eyes met, Sophia quickly looked away.
“Let’s cut the cake,” she said to everyone.
Everyone moved toward the large cake on the table. Bruce and Mila stepped to one side, standing together. Bryan made his way to the table.
“Dad.”
Brayden grabbed Bryan’s hand with a smile. Bryan rubbed his son’s head and asked,
“Did you do well in training today?”
Brayden’s eyes widened in response, and he nodded immediately. He held deep admiration for his father and aspired to win his heart.
When Bryan stood next to Sophia, he glanced at her. She was dressed in a black gown that perfectly matched his black suit. Her flawless beauty and graceful figure made it impossible for him to look away.
Sophia, however, completely ignored him.
She reached for the knife, gesturing to Bruce and Mila to take the one on the other side.
To hold the knife, Bryan placed his hand over hers. His touch made Sophia pause.
While everyone else was busy taking their places around them, she felt his thumb slowly rubbing the back of her hand as he stared at her intently.

Even now, his touch sent an electrifying sensation through her—as if he were touching her for the very first time.
However, Sophia was upset with Bryan. On such an important day, he had made her wait, as if it meant nothing to him.
She cut the cake, ignoring his touch. She remained composed throughout the party and said goodbye to the guests with a polite smile.
After the guests had left, she instructed Brayden to go to sleep in his room.
She returned to her bedroom and began removing her earrings. Seated on the stool in front of the dressing table, her eyes were fixed on the mirror. Anyone could tell she was not in a good mood.
The door opened, and the man in the black suit entered the room. She didn’t look at his face in the mirror—she already knew it was her husband.
She noticed him approaching. He stood behind her and leaned down.
He placed his hands on her bare arm, as she was wearing a sleeveless gown.
“What?” she demanded in an irritated tone.
