Chapter 720:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
“Zane Sterling and my pregnant mother, Lyra,” I continued, my voice a glacial whip cutting through the howling wind. “They came to you for sanctuary. But you wanted the Level 9 Silver-Toxin Protocol and the Syndicate’s offshore billions. So you sold their extraction route to the mercenaries.”
“I… I didn’t…” Jean-Paul stammered, his eyes wide with the horrifying realization that his deepest, bloodiest sin had been unearthed.
“My father blew himself up in the silver-scorched badlands of Eastern Europe because of your greed!” I snarled, the raw agony of my orphaned past fueling my absolute dominance. “My mother bled to death giving birth to me. You built your political empire on their ashes. And now I am going to collect the blood debt.”
Jean-Paul’s knees buckled. He gripped the marble railing to keep from collapsing. He knew that if I handed this information to the High Council Justicars, he wouldn’t just lose his territory — he would be executed for high treason and war crimes.
“What do you want?” he choked out, completely surrendering.

“Three things,” I demanded, holding up my fingers. “First, you will march back into that ballroom tonight and publicly cancel my engagement to Alpha Heir Edward, citing irreconcilable differences. I am no longer your property.”
He gave a frantic, jerky nod.
“Second,” I pressed on, “you will lift the Royal Pack’s no-fly zone immediately. You have exactly one hour to put Healer Henri Laurent and his medical team on an untraceable private jet to our location.”
“Done,” he wheezed, his chest heaving. “And the third?”
I leaned in closer, my eyes locking onto his terrified gaze. “You are going to give me everything you have on Gideon. Every hidden dark web account, every Syndicate contact, and every fatal weakness you’ve gathered while pretending to be his ally. I want the keys to destroy him.”
Jean-Paul stared at me, his Inner Wolf trembling at the sheer magnitude of what I was asking. He swallowed hard, a desperate, warning glint flickering in his eyes.
“You don’t know what you are doing, Azalea,” Jean-Paul whispered, his voice shaking with genuine dread. “You think you can outsmart him? Gideon is a monster. He will tear everyone you love apart.”
I didn’t shrink back. I didn’t waver. I let the absolute, terrifying apex predator of the Sterling bloodline bleed into my posture.
“So am I,” I replied coldly.
The absolute certainty in my voice broke the last fragment of his resistance. Jean-Paul slowly picked up his cane. Without another word of defiance, he turned and limped back through the glass doors, scurrying away to dismantle his own trap and arrange the flights.
I stood alone on the freezing terrace, the roaring wind masking the frantic beating of my heart. I had done it. I had broken the chains.
I reached into the lace cuff of my sleeve and pulled out the microscopic burner phone Healer Henri had given me. My fingers flew across the tiny keypad, compiling the massive data dump of Syndicate intel Jean-Paul had just authorized to my secure server.
