Chapter 1176:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Wilma’s eyes sparkled, and she rose to her tiptoes, her lips meeting his in a kiss. Jax’s gaze darkened, and he deepened the kiss, his hands wandering, forgetting all restraint.
The air between them grew thick, their desire palpable, when suddenly, the sharp sound of a voice broke through the tension. “Mr. Harris!”
The butler nearly stumbled as he rushed in, his panicked voice shattering the intimate moment between Jax and Wilma.
Jax stiffened, his expression twisting with irritation as he abruptly pushed Wilma away. His gaze turned ice-cold as he locked eyes with the butler. “Why are you panicking like this? How disgraceful!”
The butler trembled under Jax’s scolding, his head lowering in shame, voice quivering on the verge of tears. “M-Mr. Harris, someone just arrived outside! He’s got a strange tattoo on his hand, and he looks terrifying! He specifically asked for you.”
The butler stammered, his voice unsteady, fear evident in every word.
Jax’s brows knitted together. In Jurgh, among the city’s most powerful figures, no one he knew sported such a mark. Who could it be?
A strange unease crept through him.
Before he could piece his thoughts together, the sound of steady, deliberate footsteps echoed through the hall. At the entrance of the living room, a tall young man strode in, flanked by a group of bodyguards clad in black.
It was Hawley.
He didn’t spare Jax a glance, walking in as if he owned the place.
Jax’s face darkened instantly. This was his villa—who dared to barge in unannounced?
Suppressing the anger simmering beneath his skin, he leveled a cold gaze at the intruder. “Who the hell are you?”
Hawley barely lifted his eyes, regarding Jax with a look of pure disdain. He didn’t dignify the question with a response. Instead, he flicked his fingers lazily toward the bodyguards behind him. “Take them.”

Two men stepped forward without hesitation, seizing Jax’s arms.
Wilma barely had time to gasp before she, too, was restrained. Fear turned her face ashen as she struggled. “What are you doing? Let me go!”
Hawley finally spoke, his voice devoid of warmth. “My father wants a word with you both.”
Jax’s body went rigid. His heart pounded with alarm as he fought against the iron grip on his arms. “Who’s your father? Why should I meet him? Let me go!”
Hawley tilted his head slightly, amusement flickering in his eyes at Jax’s pathetic resistance. A slow, mocking smile stretched across his lips. “If you don’t want to come, that’s fine.”
Then, after a brief pause, his voice turned playful. “But I’d say in about half an hour, the police will be knocking on your door. Would you rather wait here for them or come with us?”
