Chapter 438:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Christian frowned when he saw her flash that beautiful smile at Erin, but his frown deepened when he noticed the way Erin stared at her, smiling.
Erin couldn’t take his eyes off her. She looked so stunning with her flawless skin; her beauty radiated, and her presence captivated him. Her beauty was a feast to his eyes, and he enjoyed it.
She noticed his gaze when she moved to measure his shoulders and smiled.
“Why are you looking at me? Are you scared I won’t sew it to your taste?”
“No, no, not at all,” Erin quickly said and grinned. “I’m just happy.”
“We all are,” Clarisse replied, grinning.
“Stop!” Christian roared.
All eyes turned to him in surprise and confusion.
“What’s wrong?” Gael, who was sitting beside him, asked, but he was ignored.
“Stop measuring him,” he said with a fierce expression, standing up.
“Huh?” Clarisse stepped back in confusion.
“Is everything okay?” Gael and Erin asked, looking at him in concern.
Christian cleared his throat, trying to control his anger and jealousy.
“She’s tired. She needs to rest,” he said.
“Huh? No, I’m not.”
Everyone looked back at him.
“She said she’s not,” Gael said.
“I know my wife. I know when she’s exhausted.”
“But I’m not. In fact, I feel energized with excitement to make the wedding dress for everyone,” she defended.
Christian cleared his throat again, looking away from everyone.
“Just don’t measure him.”

“But why?”
Erin’s face dropped, wondering what was wrong.
“What’s wrong, honey?” Clarisse asked in a sweet, calm voice.
“I don’t like the way he was looking at you,” he finally voiced out.
“Eh?!!?” they all exclaimed.
“How is he looking at her?” Gael asked, with everyone’s gaze shifting to Erin.
“He’s staring at her with so much admiration.”
“Of course I admire her. She’s skillful, talented, and beautiful.”
Christian gritted his teeth.
“Which is exactly why you’ll be going to a different designer. She’s not going to sew anything for you.”
“But I’m a customer, and a customer is always right.”
“And I’m her husband, her one and only man, and the father of her kids.”
“You mean the unborn kids?” Gael asked, bursting into laughter along with Blue.
“But they’re on the way,” he defended himself.
“Enough!!” Clarisse, who had been blushing and laughing, finally intervened.
They all stopped their bickering and turned to her.
