Chapter 2132:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
Brandon sighed in relief.
All that mattered was that Mona could be saved.
Brandon nodded and looked at Frank. “There’s no need to waste time. Use my name to negotiate with a hospital that can provide everything you need. I can pay whatever they ask for.”
Frank chuckled lightly. “I know money isn’t your problem, Brandon. That’s not the issue.”
“What, then?” Brandon asked, confused.
Sonia’s ears perked up, her eyes filled with worry. “Is the success rate of this surgery low? Is that it?”
Frank shook his head quickly, dismissing Sonia’s worries. Then he looked at Brandon and answered, “The problem is safety. If we have to go ahead with this, new medical staff will be coming in. What if Alexandra slips some of his people into the team?” He had spent a lot of time and effort clearing suspicious individuals out of his hospital just to ensure Janet’s safety.
Janet was still in the hospital, and if new medical staff arrived, it would complicate ensuring her security.
Brandon fell silent when Frank expressed his concerns.
Frank was right.
Alexandra wasn’t just after Sonia. He equally wanted to target him and Janet. It was very possible that he poisoned Mona just to create an opportunity to harm Janet.
He couldn’t put Janet in danger. He was in a dilemma. Did protecting Janet mean leaving Mona without a chance to survive?
Brandon’s frown deepened. “Frank, can’t you do the surgery alone?”

“I admit I’m a genius, Brandon, but I can’t do this surgery alone. If I could, I wouldn’t have asked for help,” Frank said frankly.
Brandon fell silent once again.
A few seconds later, Sonia broke the silence. “While my mom is getting the surgery, I can take care of Janet the whole day. I won’t leave her side. If Alexandra’s men sneak in, I will protect her with my life.”
If it meant saving Mona, she was ready to die.
“I think that might work.” Frank snapped his fingers and turned to Brandon as if waiting for his approval.
However, Brandon shook his head. “You should focus on Mona.”
“But what about Janet? I can’t put her in danger just to save my mom. I can’t!” Sonia shook her head.
“Leave that to me.”
Brandon looked into Sonia’s eyes. “If Alexandra’s men dare to enter this hospital, they won’t be able to leave.”
“How?” Frank asked curiously, stepping closer to Brandon.
Brandon responded with a mysterious smile. Then, he ordered Frank to set everything up for the operation.
After the date of Mona’s operation was set, Brandon went back to the ward to stay with Janet.
To his surprise, she was up and sitting at the head of the bed, apparently waiting for him.
Brandon wore a slightly guilty expression.
He looked at the clock on the wall and asked with concern, “Why are you awake so early? It’s only seven o’clock. Why don’t you sleep a little longer?”
Glancing at him coldly, Janet asked, “Where were you? What were you doing?”
Brandon seemed to zone out for a second. He snapped back to reality and answered, “I went out to buy breakfast for you.”
He then placed the breakfast on the coffee table and opened the bag.
Janet looked at the breakfast and frowned. “The stall where the food is sold isn’t far away. Why were you gone for two hours?”
