Chapter 621:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
The fire in Felicia’s chest rose. She clenched her fists, switched on her wheelchair, and rolled into the room without hesitation.
Nicole stepped in front of Jasper. Her gaze, cold as steel, fixed on Felicia. “Still haven’t learned your lesson?”
The color drained from Felicia’s face. That memory still stung. “How dare you bring that up?”
Nicole’s brow lifted with ease. “Why wouldn’t I?” She tilted her head. “Or do you think someone like you—stuck in a wheelchair—could beat me?”
Those words sank deep. They scorched Felicia’s pride and left a mark that wouldn’t fade.

Felicia bit her lip. Her voice shook with fury. “Nicole, anyone else could’ve been Jasper’s sister. Anyone but you. What are you after?” Her chest heaved. “Why did you cozy up to him? What’s your plan? You must be plotting something!”
Nicole’s eyes darkened. Her patience thinned. Only a moment ago, she’d told Jasper this entire situation couldn’t fall into the wrong hands.
Now, Felicia had walked right into the mess—like a moth charging toward flame.
But Felicia’s directness had done her a favor—at least a hidden threat could be dealt with.
Their eyes met. The longer Felicia looked, the more her spine froze. In Nicole’s eyes, she saw death—her own. Her confidence wavered. She couldn’t lie to herself. She was scared.
Even so, she wouldn’t back down. Her jaw tightened. Her voice cut the air. “You think staying quiet will save you?” She leaned forward slightly. “I’ve known from the start. Osbert…”
“Wouldn’t have let you and Jasper walk away like that. Let’s face it. You and Osbert are working together, aren’t you?”
Felicia’s words grew more ridiculous by the second, but Nicole kept her calm. She knew Jasper wouldn’t be swayed by baseless noise.
“Do you really want to talk about that?” Nicole’s voice was dry as ice. “Did you already forget that Osbert’s men came for me less than a week ago? And let me remind you of something—they were under your orders.” She paused long enough to let that sink in. “And what makes it so impossible for me to be Jasper’s sister?”
Each word hit colder than the last. Her patience had nearly run out.
The warning in her eyes said enough—Felicia was one wrong move away from serious regret.
Felicia rolled her eyes. “You really won’t quit until you hit a wall.”
Then she turned toward Jasper and spoke in a rush. “Jasper, when you were dying, she donated blood to save you. If she were truly related to you by blood, how could that even happen?”
She pointed a finger. “That alone proves she’s not your sister. She just got lucky and shares your blood type. That’s all.”
Jasper said nothing. His expression darkened.
Nicole hadn’t expected Felicia to bring up the blood transfusion. She definitely hadn’t expected her to weaponize it like this.
Felicia, seeing no immediate retort, thought she’d landed a blow. She pushed harder. “You donated blood. Then faked a kinship test to show you’re family. That’s how you roped him in.”
