Chapter 251:
🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙 🍙
His eyes drift down the plane, landing on Zeo, Mark, Vincent, Elijah, and Freya. Zeo and Mark are fast asleep, but Vincent and Natalia are awake, laughing and talking. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Freya laugh like that since I’ve known her.
I glance back at Leo, and I notice a frown on his face. I tap him with my leg, and he looks back at me. “What’s with that look?” I ask.
“Just noticed how close Vincent and Freya were getting,” he tells me.
“Does it bother you?” I ask him.
“Not really. I want her to be happy, but it’s just weird,” he says, and I smile.
“Now you know how Zeo feels,” I tell him, and he smirks.
“You’re right, but he better not hurt her,” he says, and I smile.
“You better stop worrying too much. Between Phoebe and Freya, you might start growing grey hairs. Plus, remember, you still have two little girls at home,” I tell him, then start laughing.
“You’re enjoying this, aren’t you?” he asks me.
“More than you can imagine,” I reply.
“You just keep laughing and having your fun, but when we get home, I’m going to spank you so hard you won’t be able to sit down for a week,” he warns, and that immediately shuts me up. When he sees the look on my face, he starts laughing.
Lena’s POV:
The plane lands, and while I know we aren’t at the pack yet, I’m giddy with excitement at the thought of seeing my babies.
It’s only been a couple of weeks, but to be honest, it feels like months have passed without seeing them.
We step off the plane and say our goodbyes to Stefan, the pilot. Zoey has been calling, trying to find out how far out we are. I know it was hard for her to stay behind while I was hurt, but she has no idea how much I appreciate her staying with the kids while I was recovering in Scotland.
We get into the SUV, and Zeo drives so fast you’d think he was being chased. But I get it—he’s been away from Zoey for nearly a month, counting the time spent looking for me and the time I spent recovering.

Phoebe has been asking questions about the kids, and she can’t wait to meet them. Richard promised me that he would find good homes for the girls we saved, and the ones who needed rehab, he would send them there. I really appreciate that.
As much as I would have liked to stay and help, I couldn’t. My children needed me, and I needed to be with them. I knew the girls were in good hands with Richard; he’s a good guy.
Phoebe falls asleep on the ride back to the pack—she’s exhausted. I get it. The change isn’t going to be easy for her to adjust to, but I’ll be with her every step of the way. Leo suggested that she might need therapy, and I think he’s right.
Another twenty minutes later, and we’re driving through the gates of the pack. I have to say, it looks completely different from the first time I drove through those gates a few months ago.
Apart from the guards standing by the gate, the atmosphere in the air is completely different—it’s buzzing with life. The farther we drive, the more I see what Leo described the first time I came back.
Adults are milling about, kids are running around, laughing and playing. It’s amazing. It’s a complete 180—things have worked out for the better.
Zeo turns and takes the dirt road that leads to the cabin. Five minutes later, he parks the car. Looks like Zoey and the kids couldn’t wait because they’re already outside the house. The moment we step out of the car, all four kids rush toward me and Leo.
